QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only when it is certain that both the mother and child will die due to the pregnancy, like an Ectopic pregnancy. Otherwise, never, that child does not get a choice in the matter and has every right afforded to it by the U.S. Constitution, which means the protect of its life.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Secure our borders, strengthen our military, and get out of all of these unnecessary wars!

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

D. But, you cannot do it overnight and those who have paid into the system and are on the system must remain. It is a complete disaster what the government has created; to remove it will take decades but it must be done. Part of the solution would also be removing the federal government completely from healthcare (no regulations) and allowing each state to choose how much regulations they want to place on the healthcare system. When the government gets involved with assurances, the healthcare system raises their prices; this happens with everything the federal government gets involved with - aviation, trains, commerce, etc.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Never. It is the person's personal decision what medical procedure is done on their body.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

We should work toward removing State Income Tax, the myriad of other taxes including property tax, and work towards having a single consumption or sales tax. This would not be something we could flip a switch on, this will take years of work and trimming down the bloated government.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

We need to cut unnecessary committees, commissions, agencies, and departments. For example, there is not reason we should have the Morbid Obesity Task Force, the Alabama State Board of Registration of Interior Design, and the Alabama Scrap Tire Commission to name a few. The government's job is not to manage every bit of our life in society, but rather to ensure the security of the State and providing for the general welfare (which is to ensure people's rights are not violated).

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

College is a choice, there are a lot of other choices that provide better results for folks; whether that is a career as a police officer or getting a technical certification for HVAC. College is not a right and should not the automatic choice after highschool. If you fund public education through college, you then must give those who choose not to go to college money. It's a ridiculous plan.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Those who go through the proper channels and immigrate legally. If someone is being persecuted for their faith, then exceptions could be made but they must still go through the process. We cannot just allow anyone and everyone in, that is how you allow your nation to be undermined through subversion and terrorism.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Agree

But the government must not require any curriculum or testing standards tied to those dollars. It should simply be: if you have a child in public school, the money goes to the public school they attend; if you have a child in private or home school, the money is refunded back to the parent.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Disagree

As a prior law enforcement officer, we are citizens who are given the power of arrest through the State. No one is free from liability. If someone's rights were violated, the one who violated the rights should be held responsible. Any logical judge will throw out cases where someone was legally arrested and no rights were violated.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

We need to partner with private providers to ensure those with mental health issues are getting the help they need.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Firearms should be kept out of the hands of mentally unstable individuals who have a diagnosed mental health issue that causes hallucinations, extremes in moods, and other violate tendencies. This does not mean everyone with PTSD or those with mild to moderate bi-polar that is under control through medication.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

It was not the gun that committed the violence, it was the person. We must stop blaming an item and start blaming the person.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To secure the safety of the population from external forces, to ensure the rights of the individuals are not violated, and to ensure the Constitution is followed.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

No interviews have been completed.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

First, we need to repeal the 2019 Gas Tax that is hurting every person in the State of Alabama. It was unnecessary to begin with as the tax revenue data shows; we just need better allocation of the funds. Second, we need to curb the emergency powers of the government by allowing the State Legislature to call themselves into special session. Third, we need to repeal common core standards and return the power to the local school boards and parents on education.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a devote believer in Jesus Christ who rescued me from my sin to whom I repent daily for my failures - I am a Christian.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

No absentee without voter ID and a valid reason. No mail-in voting except for those serving overseas.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Very little; there are some extremists groups but they number potentially in the thousand range - not the millions as some propose.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. Private industry and the free market will always lead to better solutions.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

As long as it is done on private property with permission.
