I have my B.A. in Education from the University of Missouri and am currently enrolled in Emergency Services Chaplaincy training through the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. I have been a public, private, co-op, and home school teacher since 1976. I am certified for Life to teach all subjects K-8 and Reading K-12. I am a past building representative for the Missouri State Teacher's Association and Secretary for the local International Reading Association. I piloted the D'Nelian Handwriting Program for the Raytown School District and was test administrator for the Gifted and Talented Program. I was chosen by my principal to serve on year as the building liaison to the school board. I was elected in 2008 as Republican Committee Woman for my district. In that position I served as Secretary to the 11th Senatorial District. I am a charter member of Pebble Creek Assembly of God Church where I have served in many capacities, including 12 years as Adult Sunday School Teacher.
