QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None. Abortion is one of the most atrocious and wicked acts that humanity has ever allowed. Millions of innocent children are slaughtered every single year, and we must elect leaders who will put an end to it.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

The government has absolutely no business subsidizing abortions. This is a moral stain on our country, and a disgrace to the millions of American taxpayers who have no say in where their money goes.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Our tax code should be simplified down to a single page. It is ridiculous that average Americans would have to pour over thousands of lines of legal jargon to understand why the government is taking so much of their money. An extensive and absurdly long tax code serves to benefit only the wealthy and the government.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Our government is currently responsible for implementing dozens of social programs that are either obsolete or ineffective, yet are still being funded by taxpayers to the tune of billions of dollars annually. I would significantly cut back on these useless social spending programs.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

College should remain an optional extension to public school. Higher education is not the best option for everyone, and taxpayers should not be subsidizing higher education for individuals that gain no benefit from it.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Religious liberty has been under attack in this country for the past several decades. Individuals should have the absolute right to practice their religious beliefs, and should not be forced to violate those beliefs at the hand of the government.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Under NO circumstances should our government be allowed to close a church. The foundation of our nation was built on the Bill of Rights, and there is a reason that the freedom to practice religion and peacefully assemble is number one on that list. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Option C.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I am fundamentally against the principle of forced vaccinations in all circumstances.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Peace through strength. We should continue to fully fund our military and ensure that the United States is equipped to protect and defend Americans and our allies across the world.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

Israel is our ally, and should remain that way. We must coordinate with their government to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship against radical terrorism.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Currently, the southern border of the United States is the most porous and poorly maintained that it has ever been in American history. This is by design of course, our politicians believe that it serves their interests. But it has real, negative, and preventable consequences for American citizens. We must secure our border by completing a large border wall, and fully funding border patrol agencies to ensure they have the resources to do their jobs properly.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Immigration, when done properly, can be a great thing. But we must properly screen, vet, and interview each and every individual who wants to cross our border. As Americans, we should have the right to decide who gets to live in our neighborhoods.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

John Adams once said that "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." I believe that this perfectly captures the essence of our framework.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

The current cultural concept of gender is morally corrupt and based in lies. There is no reason to inscribe this ideology into law.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Critical Race Theory is a fundamentally evil ideology. It's teachings are in opposition to the nature of our country, which is unifying and patriotic. CRT is the opposite - it is divisive and teaches people to hate our country.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was raised in a Christian household, and was raised with conservative values. Faith, family, responsibility, dedication, loyalty, and perseverance are among the values that I hold dearly and admire in others.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Obtaining a state-issued ID is among the easiest things to do as an American citizen. That is the bare minimum expected of someone who is casting a vote in an election. The is no legitimate defense against this common sense measure.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

We must eliminate unsolicited mail-in ballots and make ballot harvesting a federal crime. Ballots by mail should only be available to those who are permanently displaced (ex. active military) from their home address, and only sent by request. All polling locations should be under consistent and reliable audio and video surveillance. Those who are opposed to these simple measures are therefore in favor of voter fraud.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

True racism has been widely eradicated in our country at this point in our history. There is no reason to consider it a threat to domestic security on a broad scale.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

I believe that our natural environment should be protected to a reasonable extent, but many of our current regulations are unreasonable and overbearing.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Overall, government should serve a very limited role in our everyday lives. We find ourselves in a time where our government has a hand in nearly every decision we make - and that isn't in the spirit of what our country was founded on. Government should serve as a framework for the society, but not as a framework for our individual lives.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I would consider myself to be very conservative by today's standards, though a century ago I would be considered "lean conservative." Our political divide has widened and our people have drifted from one another. The only way to fix this is to elect leaders who are looking to reduce their role in the everyday life of the people.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I hosted a podcast series for many months last year and into early 2022 called "The Conservative Front." It can be heard on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and several other platforms. I have also made all of my interviews as a guest available on my website.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No, I have never been charged with a crime or been incarcerated.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

To put it simply, I am not a politician. I never imagined that I would be running for office in the first place, and certainly had no dreams of a career in politics. I was called to serve the people of Texas because I genuinely care about my family and my fellow Americans. I look around our country and I see other states destroying everything that I thought our nation stood for, and I fear the same fate for my home state. I am simply a young man who wants to ensure a safe and prosperous future for the millions of people who call Texas home, and I believe that stepping into public service may be the best way to do that at this time. I will always act in the best interest of the people I represent, and will always be perfectly transparent when it comes to my legislative priorities.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

The key phrase here is "consistent with departmental policy." No police officer should be put on trail for doing their job properly.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

Police departments need funding to ensure that our officers have the facilities, equipment, training, and resources to operate efficiently and correctly. In many cases, the answer to fixing poor police work is to direct MORE funds to the department for upgraded training, tools, and technology.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I generally believe that background checks are in the best interest of the people. Anyone with a history of violence should not be permitted to own a firearm. However, any law abiding citizen should be able to own a gun without the government giving them permission to do so.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Manufacturers and distributors should not be held responsible for the actions of people who misuse their products. This is an absurd argument that would seem ridiculous if applied to any other product. I am fundamentally opposed to this line of reasoning.
