What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
The same of Thomas Jefferson's, education is essential in forming and maintaining a strong society. The bulk of this education should be paid for by the general public. I also believe in a thriving society that all options of education be supported and accepted, meaning there needs to be a space for Home-schoolers, private school, charter schools and Religious schools. Paying for them is to be private in natural, but the state should do NOTHING to oppose them.

1. Our heritage and history are important and the notion of our nation being founded on Christian values should not be erased. I feel that there should have been a grandfather clause. It may be difficult to add new monuments today, but why in the 1980's and 1990's did we so easily tear them down or remove them. 2. Depending on the monument, some where extremely artistic and should have remained for no other reason than the artistic side.

I was part of the WISD when prayer was brought back to the board meetings. I was also a part of adopting the Defender Program in the WISD, arming select faculty / staff in an effort to better protect our schools. I fought to defeat the WISD 2013 Bond package as it was not right for the district. These are all items that can be easily verified.

With six years of experience on the Weatherford School Board, as both a member and Vice-President, I have developed a strong understanding of the business practices of Independent School Districts. As a Tenured Professor, who just so happens to be a staunch Republican, I have a profound understanding of our higher education systems. As a founder and former owner of the Parker County Brewing Company, I have a deep understanding of the hurdles facing small business owners today. As Vice-Chairman of the Weatherford Planning & Zoning board I’ve developed a broad understanding of growth and development. With a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and experience in administration, I understand the role of processes, committees, and sub-committees. Education is...My LIFE!

2ND AMENDMENT
Teachers who are licensed to carry should be allowed to carry guns at school.

I was part of the WISD Board when we adopted the Defender Program. To this day, I believe WISD is the largest district in the nation to have armed its teachers. But...the teachers needed to go through LARGE amounts of additional safety training. This is what I support.

Do you support mandatory vaccinations for children attending public school?
I do not support mandatory vaccinations of minimally tested, unproven and in many cases dangerous products. Products with decades of trials, such as the Polio vaccine is a completely different scenario to me. What is happening today, with COVID vaccines is absolutely appalling.
