RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
When a medical condition, the onset of which is sudden and/or of sufficient severity that a person could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in the death of the mother.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Abortion is the intentional and direct killing of an innocent human being. The primary function of our government is to protect and promote the common good and the general welfare, therefore, it is charged with protecting all citizens from harm. This means that nobody, including the Government, can try to end your life or sanction, promote, or fund the act of ending a life.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Assisted suicide and euthanasia is the intentional and direct killing of a human being. The primary function of our government is to protect and promote the common good and the general welfare, therefore, it is charged with protecting all citizens from harm. This means that nobody, including the Government, can try to end your life or sanction, promote, or fund the act of ending a life.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
The Federal Tax Code should be abolished and replaced with a simple flat tax based upon a part-time (20 hours) or full-time (40 hour) work week. This would also reduce the need for the IRS to continue to exist in its current form.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
American tax dollars should only be used for the common defense, and of general, national, not local, or state, benefit. Categories where we should eliminate wasteful spending are: 1) Programs that should be handled by state and local governments; 2) Programs that could be better performed by the private sector; 3) Mistargeted programs whose recipients should not be entitled to government benefits; 4) Outdated and unnecessary programs; 5) Duplicative programs; and 6) Inefficiency, mismanagement, and fraud. Solely eliminating waste will not balance the budget alone. Lawmakers must also rein in spending by reforming Social Security and Medicare and by eliminating government activities that are no longer affordable.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
Making education into a public good is an extreme form of price-fixing. Just 73% of students at public colleges and 63% of those at for-profits, are enrolled in a passing program. Government intervention in a market always alters the market and is never the solution. Governments typically impose interventions on top of the interventions, and so on until the result is something as complicated and non-functioning as our current college-funding system.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
The purpose of the 1st Amendment is to shield people against governmental mandates and prohibitions and to keep government out of the arena of religion, speech, and the press. Our government should have no role in practicing any religion, nor should it have the authority to compel you to violate a belief; it cannot prevent you from speaking your mind and it cannot compel you speak if you do not want to.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
NONE. Even in times of emergency, when reasonable and temporary restrictions are placed on our rights, the First Amendment and federal statutory law prohibit discrimination against religious institutions and religious believers.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
E) Massive Part B and Part D subsidies for upper-income families should be reduced or eliminated. Medicare should be moved from a defined-benefit system to a defined-contribution system such as a voucher-type system to purchase coverage from competing health plans that offer differing coverage and costs which will create more choice and competition in the system which in turn will help reduce costs. There should be a phased increase in the age at which individuals are eligible to receive full Social Security benefits and Medicare. At the same time, the early benefit retirement age for Social Security should be increased also. Instituting a Medicaid block grant system to states would eliminate a states incentive to overspend on Medicaid. Encouraging States to help individuals purchase long-term care insurance could also substantially reduce Medicaid's burden.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
NONE.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
It is not a matter of if, but when will Islamic terrorist strike the United States and it's allies. Known terrorists and terror cells should be dealt with swiftly and harshly upon their discovery.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Our border will never be secure until there is a secure barrier between us and Mexico. This, must be the first legislative priority. Border wall legislation should be followed up with legislation ending all subsidies, magnets, and programs that encourage illegal immigration.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
All who immigrate here legally and agree to peaceably assimilate and become a productive member of society should be allowed.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
Our founders bestowed upon us an ingenious political system of checks and balances, limited government, and a legacy of human and civil rights. But they also knew that it would be up to future generations to make it all work. And it would only work, they warned, if the American society was girded on a bedrock of solid values and Judeo-Christian principles. This is why John Adams famously said, “Our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Rampant homosexuality and transgender acceptance helped lead to the fall of Rome and our civilization is starting to unravel as the transgender political movement hinders human rights, ignores biology and leads to repression. The left is using transgenders as a weapon in their nihilistic agenda of destruction, since it devastates both the individual and society under the banner of a single ideology.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Critical race theory is rooted in Marxist theory that the world is a battle between the socio-economic classes. Except, it takes that Marxist view of the world and instead of dividing us based on class, it aims to tear down our institutions and divide us based on race.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
There is but ONE common denominator of humanity: everyone needs Christ’s salvation. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). My beliefs and values, ingrained in my worldview through my spiritual beliefs and experiences and observations in life. They have led me to a philosophy based on a set of principles, that we are created and endowed by our Creator, that we’re all individuals. Free to choose how to live, free to be the best he or she chooses to be. I see people as human beings. I don’t see identity groups. I don’t see victims. I don’t see my fellow Texans as people to be exploited. I love the people of my country and try to see the potential in everyone. I want and strive for this this to be the greatest country it can be. I reject the efforts to group people by race or sex. I recognize that we are all individuals. We’re all different. I believe that there are no two things or people in this world who are created in a way that they end up with equal outcomes. That’s up to them. They are created equal, to give each a chance because every person has what it takes to succeed when certain things are removed from their path like burdensome taxes, regulations, and government interference. In the history of this world, no one’s problems have ever been solved by government. All anyone has ever gotten from government dependence is that their lives have been poisoned, cut short by false promises, from government representatives who have said, “Don’t worry about it, we’ll take care of you. Just vote for us.”
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
In the freest nation in the world, our system of government and our very liberty depend on free and fair elections. Whether we’re selecting a mayor or the president of the United States, every American must be able to trust the process, or the democratic system itself breaks down. Photo identification of a voter is to prevent identity theft and no fair electoral process would do away with a photo ID requirement.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Voter registration lists should be designed to be interoperable so that they can communicate seamlessly with other state record databases to allow frequent exchanges and comparisons of information. States should join voter registration crosscheck programs to identify voters registered in multiple places. The counting of ballots, including absentee and early votes, should not begin until the polls close at the end of Election Day and should continue counting without pause until all ballots have been tabulated. The rules governing the conduct of elections, which are constitutionally entrusted to the various state legislatures, should be prohibited from being changed shortly before an election. Private interest groups of should not be allowed to provide funds to local election authorities to defray the cost of elections. State agencies, such as the DMV, should be prohibited from offering any individual the opportunity to register to vote who uses any foreign identification or other document that indicates the individual is not a U.S. citizen. A voter should be required to validate his or her identity with government-issued photo ID to vote both in-person or by absentee ballot. Government-issued IDs should be free for those who cannot afford one. Absentee ballots should be reserved to those individuals who are too disabled to vote in person or who will be out of town on Election Day and all Early Voting Days. Vote-trafficking or vote harvesting by third parties should be banned. Something as critical as election integrity can’t be left to a simple honor system. One of the most important roles of government is to safeguard the electoral process and ensure that every voter’s right to cast a ballot is protected. That not only protects our right to vote; that’s how we protect the future of our very republic.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. Bigotry is real. Yet the public perception of bigotry has surpassed the reality to such an extent that it has become a moral panic. The American public has a mistaken perception of how much racism exists in America today thanks to cognitive biases created by political narratives and promoted by a willing media. Critical race theory and intersectionality have seeped into corporate America and Silicon Valley, as well as into many K–12 education systems creating the false impression of an increase in the misperception that bigotry is everywhere, even as the data tell a different story: racism exists, but there has never been less racism than there is now.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. Amongst the different agendas behind the climate change issue, there is one that is most controversial and disturbing. It is the study that shows that 62% of Americans believe that climate change is largely caused by humans. This despite the fact that the leading advocates of the Climate Change movement are politicians, entertainers, and even children who live personal lives of unparalleled luxury while prescribing carbon austerity for the masses. The earth’s climate is remarkably stable by historical standards, and there is no real proof that man is causing the warming or cooling of the planet. Such claims are based on outright fraud, and the real agenda behind is clearly political. Needless environmental regulations have a considerable negative effect on the overall level of economic activity. And when output slows, employment usually slows with it. Just look at California's job exodus where especially onerous new environmental regulations are the principal factor driving businesses' decisions to leave the state.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Our Constitution begins with the preamble: “We the people of the United States, to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” Our rights from our Creator, and because all men were created equal, we all possess rights which must be protected by the body of law and it is these rights that are referred to as the blessings of liberty. The securing of the blessings of liberty refers to the preservation of the rights and freedoms of each citizen. The essence of this phrase in the preamble to the US constitution is to ensure that the rights of the people for liberty are duly preserved for themselves and the sake of posterity. Now, there exists a legal and institutional framework for the protection of these rights. The aims of our Constitution is to protect the rights of its citizens. And it was for that purpose that our government was created. However, the ultimate responsibility lies in the hands of the citizen who must be proactive in ensuring that these rights are protected and promoted.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
Our founders bestowed upon us an ingenious political system of checks and balances, limited government, and a legacy of human and civil rights. But they also knew that it would be up to future generations to make it all work. And it would only work, they warned, if the American society was girded on a bedrock of solid values and Judeo-Christian principles. I am running for Texas House District 57 because our state government has become too bloated with bureaucracy, too beholden to special interests, and no longer prioritizes the rights of the individual. Our legislature’s primary role is to restrain the government from depriving persons of the right to pursue various liberties, such as freedom of speech or a life free from unreasonable taxation, regulation, and tyrannical mandates. Instead, despite having a clear republican majority, our legislature has adopted a more progressive view that its primary responsibility is to provide welfare benefits, housing, and an education based on social and emotional learning. Personal agency is the cornerstone of any free society that values life, liberty, and property; we cease to be free without it. I believe and will fight for: Border Protection/Immigration Reform -- No state is sovereign without its borders. A physical barrier shall be built within 5 years along the entirety of the Texas/Mexico border where a sufficient or natural barrier does not already exist. Additionally, all financial welfare incentives for crossing our border illegally shall be eliminated. Right to Make Personal Healthcare Decisions -- All persons and legal entities have the right of conscience and should be protected under Texas law if they conscientiously object to participating in practices that conflict with their moral or religious beliefs. They have a natural right to refuse vaccination or medical treatment and the right for such choices to not be a condition of the provision of government services. They have a right to not be compelled to don a medical device for an illness for which they have not been diagnosed or to provide a receipt of a vaccine by any individual, including an employee or a consumer. Property Tax Relief -- Cuts in spending is less harmful to growth than raising taxes. Property tax relief through the elimination of the school M&O property tax through surpluses created by cuts in spending and elimination of wasteful programs provides a legitimate path to substantial property tax relief without costly and burdensome tax swapping or increasing sales taxes. Protection of Life -- Protection of life is the paramount responsibility of any government. Protection of the unborn through a complete and total ban on abortion. Protecting our Children -- Protecting children from CRT and SEL and prohibiting gender modification is a topic that anyone who values protecting the most vulnerable among us should be in agreement on. Allowing a physician to perform a sterilization surgery, performing a mastectomy, or administering puberty blockers or doses of testosterone or estrogen to a minor should be defined as child abuse. Physicians should be prohibited from performing gender transition surgeries or administering puberty blockers or testosterone or estrogen to minors. Insurance companies should be prohibited from issuing liability policies and the Texas Medical Board should be required to rescind the license of a physician who participates in these procedures. Critical Race Theory and Social and Emotional Learning should be banned from being taught in all K-12 public schools, public universities, and state colleges.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Disagree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
We can and should fund both our police and also mental health facilities and programs
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The Second Amendment to the Constitution is clearly about the right of individuals to own and carry guns and the idea that its language is limited to maintaining organized militias only developed in the 20th century. The Second Amendment's purpose is to give citizens a way to defend themselves, not only from potential tyrants but also from threats that the government leaves unchecked.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
