QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Every unborn child is a gift from God. As a mother of two and a conservative lawmaker, I am a firewall against groups like Planned Parenthood fighting to bring extreme, taxpayer-funded abortion policies to Wyoming. In the legislature, I have sponsored more pro-life bills than any member in state history. When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, it was my trigger law that activated to protect unborn life from the moment of conception. I will always protect the sanctity of life.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Agree
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
I oppose government-mandated minimum wage hikes. Artificial wage floors hurt the very workers they aim to help by driving up inflation, cutting entry-level hours, and forcing small businesses to lay off staff. The free market, not heavy-handed govern
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Audit Everything: Mandate full transparency to expose and eliminate regulatory black holes in government spending. Slash Red Tape: Streamline state administrative operations to strip out duplicative and wasteful bureaucratic bloat. Enforce Balanced Budgets: Stop reckless inflationary spending and force agencies to live within their fiscal means. Block Foreign Influence: Prevent adversaries, especially the CCP, from utilizing public funds or exploiting state assets.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The separation of church and state is a shield, not a sword. It protects the Church from government overreach; it was never meant to scrub faith from the public square. Our Founders intended "freedom of religion," not "freedom from religion." My Christian faith informs my values and my leadership, and I will never apologize for it. I will always fight to protect our First Amendment rights and ensure the government never dictates how we worship, operate our businesses, or live out our beliefs.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
I select Option C. Medicare and Medicaid are vital safety nets for our seniors and most vulnerable, and we must protect them. But we must stop the radical Left’s push for government-run healthcare that destroys choice, lowers the quality of care, and fuels inflation. I am for an approach where we focus on lowering healthcare costs through robust private-sector competition, cutting bureaucratic red tape, and fostering free-market innovation.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
This relationship is vital for our national security, particularly regarding intelligence sharing, counter-terrorism, and advanced cybersecurity. We share a fundamental commitment to democratic values and regional stability. Supporting Israel ensures a reliable, strategic partner against shared adversaries while aggressively protecting our mutual interests in a volatile region.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Neutral
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My Christian faith is the bedrock of my life, family, and leadership, instilling an unwavering commitment to integrity and the God-given dignity of every individual. These values shape my belief in hard work, personal accountability, and the vital importance of the nuclear family. Whether leading the Wyoming Freedom Caucus or chairing state committees, I am guided by biblical stewardship and a strict duty to protect the constitutional liberties of our citizens.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Coal and natural gas are our most reliable energy foundations. Wyoming's Powder River Basin coal is vital to the American power grid. We must expand safe nuclear energy while eliminating federal regulations and ESG mandates that suppress production.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The primary goal of the criminal justice system must be to protect law-abiding citizens, uphold the rule of law, and deliver swift, certain justice. As a former law enforcement officer, I believe the system must prioritize public safety and victims' rights over criminals. We achieve this through robust deterrence, removing violent offenders from our streets, and enforcing strict accountability. Law and order form the foundation of a free society, and our laws must be enforced without compromise.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The Second Amendment is an absolute constitutional right that "shall not be infringed." Public safety is best protected by aggressively enforcing criminal laws, backing law enforcement, and addressing mental health, not by expanding the administrative state with new gun control that penalizes law-abiding citizens. In the legislature, I successfully defunded entities that discriminate against the firearms industry, and I will continue defending our gun rights.
