QUESTIONNAIRE*

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I believe in the Sanctity of Life. Twice I have been awarded Wyoming's Right to Life Platinum Award. I also co-sponsored the ultra sound bill.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

I co-sponsored Wyoming's chemical abortion ban bill SF109

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

This isn't included in the proper role of government.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Private property is essential for a free people.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

This law was made in 1938 and was set at .25/hr. Today Federal rate is $7.25 . My position is that gov't should not be doing what a free market will do. Interference will be destructive to market activity.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

NO!

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Human sacrifice.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Freedom of conscience.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Medicaid and Medicare with certain criteria met. Health savings accounts should be available as well as private affordable health care. Employers should be encouraged by reasonable programs to provide as a benefit to their employees.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. We have been allies and must continue. Both nations depend on the other to uphold the principles of individual freedom, free markets, and freedom to worship as we see fit.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We have a very active immigration policy in the US. Anyone following the procedures to obtain citizenship and willingness to be Americans are welcome. Our nation is based on the immigration of people to the North American continent.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Agree

I believe that we have a quagmire of 'trying to fix this" and are making more rules that add to that. School choice is paramount in parental rights and the rights of a child to an appropriate education that prepares them for work, family and success in their endeavors. The enormity of educational funding is breaking our states and producing much less than is possible.

VALUES

Children have the right to be protected from sexually explicit materials in publicly funded libraries, including school libraries.

Strongly Agree

This is an attack on all of us.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from harm, including from gender ideology and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Bodily mutilation should not be performed on anyone from 4 to 18.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

They are elective services.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am born again according to scripture. God came in the flesh as Jesus Christ, served, suffered, was murdered, rose again the 3rd day and ascended into heaven. He was seen by numerous people and also by over 500 at one time. I believe I am the recipient of grace because of his sacrifice and payment for sin. I am free to live my life and give thanks for life, liberty, and property.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Our elections, by those that are qualified voters, are what keeps a nation free.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism has been given a different definition in this day and age. It's a tool to take away the voice of anyone that disagrees. It is always wrong when used in prejudice.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

I will add that some sports i.e. cup stacking is co-ed as is ballet as is dancing. We have to be careful to realize that right is right and wrong wrong. We all know.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

A and C We in Wyoming are experiencing the results of A and D.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Electricity isn't a ready made product but needs to be generated. Steam turbines using fossil fuels, nuclear, biomass, thermal, and solar thermal. Coal

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To provide for the defense of the people, to protect individual rights to liberty, within conditions of order and stability. To not take the responsibility given to us all away. Government is not our parent.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I believe in individual God given and US Constitutional protected rights and responsibilities.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

Please express your views on the 2nd Amendment.

Our 2nd Amendment provides for a well regulated Militia being necessary for the security of a free state and the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. I believe this and am thankful for those that have served in the military to defend this. I also do my utmost to be a voice for the protection of this liberty and against any person or government that tries to take it.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree
