QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I could agree to allowing 1st Term abortions for: rape victims, incest victims, if mother's life is threatened by giving birth, or if the child is not going to be viable. I would only agree to 2nd and 3rd term abortions for: if the mother's life is threatened or if the child's life is not viable.

iVoterGuide Notes:

The candidate says, "I could agree to allowing 1st Term abortions, if my constituents asked me to do so, in the following circumstances; rape victims, incest victims."

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Personal taxes should be simplified to flat rates. This would reduce the size of the IRS and save the government millions of dollars every year.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Agree

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

We are a nation based on Judeo/Christian values. The government should not write any laws favoring one religion over the other. The government should never infringe on anyone's right to practice any religion they choose, as long as they do not harm others or become a burden on taxpayers. But, because our nation was founded on Judeo/Christian principals I do support certain displays on government property, (ie. The Ten Commandments, In G-d we Trust, etc.).

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Option C). I believe solving the healthcare problems in our country should include a wide range of different options, ideas, etc. Because the needs of our citizens are so vast, forcing people into "one solution" hurts more people than it helps. The government should not be the single solution for healthcare.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

Option B) I do believe there is role for our nation to help those in need around the world, but not at the expense of the people in need here at home. There has to be a balance, and any aid we provide should be based on sound fiscal and foreign policies.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

We should support the nation of Israel.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Work with allies and continue to improve our abilities to gather intelligence. We should also continue to employ and improve tactics that minimize the threat to our military and of civilians. We also have to be able to openly discuss Islamic terrorism without being labled an "Islamaphobe". We have to clearly state the difference between peaceful followers of Islam and Islamic terrorists.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

It should be secured through a combination of physical barriers, technological barriers, more logistical support, and more agents.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone who does so legally. I do believe we can reduce the "red tape" and costs to becoming a citizen. But, if you are willing to go through the legal process of immigration, (which includes being properly vetted, passing a citizenship test, etc.), then you should be welcome. Asylum seekers should only be allowed if the United States is the first nation they enter. In other words you should not be allowed to seek asylum in the US if you traveled through multiple countires to get here. You should only be allowed to be able to seek asylum in the first country you enter.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am Jewish. I believe in the Judeo/Christian values our nation is founded on.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I would propose we follow the reccomendations of the Carter/Baker voting task force, that were presented to Congress in 2005.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. Does racism exist? Of course it does. There are racists of all colors, religions, creeds, nationalities. Can we rid the world of racism, unfortunately no. There will always be people who have racism in their hearts. But, I believe that is truly a very small minority of people in our nation. I believe most Americans are good and have love in their heart for all people.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Neutral

I honestly need to do more research on this topic.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Option A)

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I support term limits for politicians and pledge to serve no more than 8 years in Congress if elected. I believe in fiscal responsibility, and will not support any budget that adds anything to our national debt. I will fight for our Constitutional Rights, and to reduce the size of the Federal Government.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support gun safety education programs, but I do not believe any further retrictions on gun ownership will increase public safety. Also the 2nd Amendment is in place to allow citizens to protect themselves from a tyrranical government.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
