QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Never, accept to save the mother's life

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

If Roe v. Wade is overturned by the US Supreme Court, how far are you willing to go to roll back North Carolina's statutory abortion law that allows abortion up to 20 weeks?

Roe v. Wade should have never been enforced. It never went through the correct process. It should only be performed to save the mother's life

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Would you support a limitation on chemical abortion that protects women from taking abortion pills without the care and supervision of a qualified physician?

Yes

ECONOMY

The government should do more to close the gap between the working class and the wealthy.

Strongly Disagree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

When you lower taxes people have more spending power on what they need and want. This creates more economic growth which will stimulate the economy and increase jobs. More money flowing to the treasury department. The increased amount should be applied to reducing the national debt.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Pay with your own funds or through bank loans. Taxpayers are not responsible for another person's life choices.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No one should not be required to provide a service as long as that decision is not based on race or sex. Any business that refuses a service for other reasons is their preference.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Never

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

The state cannot establish a religion, and people have the right to choose a religion.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

The answer is C. When the government adds regulations, it increases cost.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I am not a physician and do not feel qualified to answer this question correctly. I will need to do research and talk with people in the medical field. I do not think an employer has that authority to require a vaccination.

EDUCATION

States should allow parents to use the Opportunity Scholarship Program to fund private school for their children.

Strongly Agree

We need to convert to a voucher system where parents decide where their children go to school. When schools compete, you generate better results.

In what situations does a parent not have the right to know what their child is being taught in public school?

They should always be informed and have the right to know in advance of what is being taught. no exceptions

When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?

Never, unless there is physical violence.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Let's focus on the fundamentals (3R's) in the schools so the children receive the best possible education.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Everyone wants to know that the elections are free from fraud.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Election day voting only, voter ID required, Absentee for people unable to attend the polls that day, and continual update of the voter rolls.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No, the majority of US citizens are not racist. It is a false narrative to create increased funding for programs and dividing the people.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Answer is A. Renewable energy sources are currently not cost effective, not efficient enough to supply our current energy needs, and some of their raw materials are hazardous. We should continue to research alternatives that reduce costs, fills the needs, and are safer for the environment.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The federal government: national security, support commerce, and solve disputes between the states. Limited by the constitution, with all other powers to the people for their state and local governments. The people of each state should decide what they want in government.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I am a very fiscal conservative person.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I have been campaigning for months and sharing my values and beliefs with thousands of Republican primary voters across the area. I am steadfast in my conservatism and look forward to showing this in my voting record as the next NC House 54 Representative. I will continue meeting with voters from now through election day and letting them know where I stand!

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No, I have not

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I believe in the following: responsible government, accountability, reduce national debt, audit budgets, cut wasteful spending, require a budget passed each year before any other issue can be discussed, all legislation must pass on it's own merits and can not be combine with others. term limits, illegal for a family member or close friend from being a lobbyist while you are in office. IRS be required to audit every elected official yearly. Prosecute elected officials for insider trading. lower taxes, impeach judges who make law instead of following the constitution, leave the UN

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

If they follow a department policy that is unacceptable, the policy needs to be corrected. Actions outside the policy should be disciplined or fired.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

The police need the funds and support from the community. They keep the society functioning and prevent anarchy.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Work to remove the guns from criminals. Encourage good gun safety and support public training.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Objects do not kill or injure people it is the person using that devise. We need tougher criminal sentences for the violators

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Would you support legislation that prohibits biological boys from competing on girls sports teams?

Yes

It is illogical for biological female athletes to compete against biological male athletes.
