QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None- I stand by Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Under no circumstances would I agree to provide tax dollars for abortion providers.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Disagree
As someone who has watched a loved one suffer while dying. this is a difficult subject. However, as a Christian, I defer to the wisdom of God to guide my decisions. As such, as much as I struggle with this, any type of suicide or euthanasia goes against biblical guidelines and I do not support these procedures.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
As a starting point, we must all agree about whose money taxes really are. Taxes are not the governments money, taxes are OUR money. That being said, any form of taxes will always be criticized by various citizen groups. I believe that it is important for governmental leaders to always look for ways to reduce government spending and minimize taxes. Upon taking office, I will present a plan to reduce state government spending and provide a more equitable tax code for the citizens of Wisconsin.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
During COVID, private businesses were under a tremendous amount of financial stress and many businesses shuttered or had to reduce staff. Yet, state government continued to spend tax dollars as if everything was status quo. No government employees were furloughed or were budgets cut. This is an example of how government is out of touch with our citizens. In that case, every department in government could have cut some spending to ease the burden on taxpayers and businesses in the state.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
I believe taxpayer-funded public education should remain for grades K-12. Providing taxpayer funds for education beyond high school would continue excessive government spending. We currently have a tremendous labor shortage as well as a shortage of trades and skilled labor. Encouraging students who are not 100% committed to a college degree to pursue a college education just because it's free opens the door to wasteful spending.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
A business owner should be able to run their business how they want to run it, without the intrusion of government. Business owners risk their personal capital in the pursuit of a profit. Our country was formed by our founding fathers on the premise of freedom of religion, not freedom FROM religion. If a business owner refuses to provide services because it would violate their moral or religious beliefs, forcing them to provide that service violates their rights of freedom of religion.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
If the physical structure of the church violates local building code, or if the church espouses to overthrow the government, then I believe the government can pursue options and follow existing procedures to close the church.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Under no circumstances should a government, school or employer be allowed to require vaccinations. Vaccinations must be a personal choice, not mandated by an outside entity.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
The United States must secure our borders. Anyone on a terrorist watchlist or that is on our soil illegally and is caught within our borders must be deported. In addition, we must immediately stop any US financial aid that is being received by entities that are sponsoring or assist with any type of terrorism.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Only those immigrants who enter this country legally and who submit to background checks should be allowed into this country. We have laws on the books that provide a process by which immigrants can come to our country. If we do not follow these existing laws then we are in fact breaking the law. If we as citizens believe these laws to be unfair, then we have a process in place to change the law. If we don't follow our own laws then our word and promises mean nothing.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
We pay a tremendous amount of money to fund education in our country. Test scores indicate that in many school districts, these districts are not providing even basic educational skills. We are using our tax dollars to support these underperforming schools. Shouldn't taxpayers have the right to choose which school to send their kids to? Why should only those financially well off have the option to attend private schools?
Parents are the primary stakeholders in their children's education.
Strongly Agree
Parents support and raise their own children. Government, teachers, or school administrators do not.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian ideals. We have a Constitution based on these values. If our citizens believe that these ideals and our Constitution no longer represents our system of government, then we have laws already in place to change this.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Our country was founded on the premise that all are created equal, regardless of economic stature, gender, or race. Anytime we elevate a class of citizens to a specially protected class, then we are all no longer equal.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe that the Bible is the Word of God, that God created the world and all that is in it. I believe that God's Word is my guide and anything that goes against His Word is wrong.
Marriage between one man and one woman and the families they form are the foundation of civilization and are fundamental to the well-being and prosperity of Wisconsin.
Strongly Agree
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I would propose only using paper ballots-electronic voting should be prohibited. In addition, these ballots must be held for a minimum of 2 years. Voting machines must not be accessible from the internet
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism has been in existence ever since the beginning of time. If we would live our lives by the golden rule, Treat others as you would want to be treated, racism would be non existent.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Should you personally be held responsible for the actions of someone that lived over 100 years ago-someone who may not even be in your bloodline?
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
Any option available to us to become more energy independent should be explored. People like to think that electric cars are clean. But they rely on batteries that must have copper, and other metals that must be mined-how does that impact the environment? Or what is done with batteries that are no longer useful? They sit in landfills waiting 1000 years to break down.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To Protect our lives, liberties and a peacefully way of life.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I believe in the Constitution and the Bible!
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
If you goggle my name there are numerous interviews to show my transparence on most subjects.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I will be the Governor for ALL people regardless of any initial or party affiliation because I believe that most people would agree on 80% of things that would be good for all people. On the contrary we might disagree on 20% of things but I am open to having a discussion on most subjects and hear other people's opinions and solutions. I work well with all people and have the capabilities to earn the respect of people in a short amount of time.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Age 18 and older If Mental health is in question
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
It's impossible for a gun itself to harm anyone. A gun can only harm someone if it is used by someone with the intent to harm.
