OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers should not receive funds from federal, state or local government without exception.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life begins at the point of conception. God knew each person before he established the foundation of the world. He knitted each person in the womb by with His hands. I believe there are no circumstances that abortion should be allowed.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

Redistribution of income amounts to bad governance and develops protected classes of people that gain a false sense of security and become dependent on political handouts. Victims of political handouts become groomed toward dependency upon elected representatives, and\or a bureaucracy that is legislatively designed to perpetuate dependency.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

The United States Congress must defund "executive departments" of the Executive Branch that serve to usurp powers reserved to the Several States. The Congress must adopt an annual operating budget to fund only the few and enumerated powers that Several States delegated to the Constitutional Republic and establish a transparent audit specifically for waste and fraud pertaining to federal procurements.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I would not be averse to a Flat Tax or FAIR Tax.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Pastors preached Christ Crucified in the pulpit and also stood side by side Patriots and tribes on Revolutionary War battlefields in a decisive victory against tyranny. The Declaration of Independence provides a vision of history filled with attitude and convictions about Patriots attaining freedom because it is a God-given right. Today it is unacceptable that Preachers and Bible teachers and the church are told to deny the Sovereign God of all Creation and Our Living Christ.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

To require individuals of businesses to provide services even when it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs does not serve what is most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

No panel, whether government or private, established by command of the state should become imbued with investigatory powers subjecting the employee or contractor to examination in order to enforce mandated vaccination or any other experiment. The Preamble for the United States Bill of Rights "expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added" and First Amendment immediately began that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." The Congress restricted itself from establishing a National Denomination of the Christian Church as a superior authority over other denominations. The Congress also restricted itself from "prohibiting the free exercise thereof" for Chistian beliefs. Article VI of the U.S. Constitution restricts government from establishing that a "religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstances should government, schools, employers, military and other industries be imbued with any power to mandate or require vaccinations. Citizens of the United States cannot allow a second bite of an apple that had poison in the first bite as well as worldwide collusion and muting of public discussion or testimony by experts.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

My view matches more closely with option C. Although I suspect that option C is abused. Petitions are currently being circulated in South Dakota to expand Medicaid. It seems dangerous to conduct expansion, at the ballot box, for a service that seems to be abused. Especially with the inability for states to guarantee Election Integrity. I have private insurance and feel the medical system is more concerned with billing codes and has structured itself to reap unnecessary insurance payments and co-pays. As an American Indian I have access to the Indian Health Services, which is federally funded although limited in scope. Referrals to "outside" services are frequent through contracted services. The Indian Health Service has a policy statement identifying itself as "Payor of last resort." Both federal and contracted services fail patients on a broad scale and often time leave them with unpaid bills. COVID-19, or as I prefer to label it, the Fauci Flu Plandemic, certainly created widespread fear and distrust with medical providers and pharmacies. My personal experience with medical malpractice began with being diagnosed with the Fauci Flu by a clinic in South Dakota who refused to prescribe Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine. Then the Indian Health Services hospital refused to prescribe Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine. An online Front Line Doctor from the state of Ohio prescribed Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, which was filled by a pharmacy in Nebraska. Three of my immediate family members were healed through prescriptions of Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine for the Fauci Flu, without intubation, Remdesivir or quarantine from family members and with the benefit of family directives for patient care. Making matters worse is South Dakota governance chose to protect Vaccination Mandates for a flu having 98.7 percent survival and likely 99.9 percent survival had Ivermectin been a prescribed therapy. It would be an interesting study to understand the cost of medical care because hospitalists threatened nurses, doctors and other employees with termination from employment for requesting exemption from the Fauci Jabs and boosters. I believe that healing is a limited art and is under attack in favor of billing for dollars. With this in mind there needs to be reform with issuing tax dollars for medical services that seem to reject the Hippocratic Oath and sensible billing practices.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

My view most closely resembles that of option C. The United States must remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty especially with dramatically different attitude and conviction demonstrated by individual Commanders-in-Chief, especially over the course of the past four decades. There appears to be a contrast between United States Presidents concerning foreign affairs that on one hand, lead from a position of strength and on the other hand lead from a position of appeasement. In contrast and comparison between the last three Presidents, beginning with Obama, who schemed deployment of United States personnel and equipment in delivery of pallets of cash to an enemy of the United States, Iran, under cover of secrecy. To that of President Trump who placed America First in a position of strength and during his term of office caused no war while defending himself from a political party, ambassadorships, FBI, NSA, CIA and career bureaucrats determined to undermine the Executive Branch through deceitful measures or outright treason against the United States, including a fraud filled 2020 Election. Finally, the contrast of Joe Biden and his bumbling ascension to the White House as a new normal as a witness to the oncoming frailty of defense of the United States, both foreign and domestic policy. The United States feels on the brink of losing our Constitutional Republic by an enemy within and they look like us.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese Communist Party was aided and abetted by career politicians, unelected bureaucrats and United States businesses seeking to exploit cheap labor in exchange for defense and security of the Citizens, our homeland and territories.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Attain the attitude and convictions of our Patriot, Pastoral and Tribal ancestors who fought for freedom against a tyrant crown and our relatives who stood with him. Then glorify our Father God, Savior Son and indwelling Spirit by professing Christ voluntarily crucified and standing firm in the armor of God. States must remain united in defense of our nation and federal representation must project a position of strength to the world and terrorists that we shall not tolerate attack in any form on our Judeo-Christian position.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. must resume President Trump's policy pertaining to the southern border and advance from there.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

This statement sounds reasonable unless Congress amends immigration laws to the detriment of national defense of the United States of America.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Any Human Being should be allowed to migrate to the U.S. under lawful circumstances.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Critical Race Hypothesis is strictly an attack on Jesus the Living Christ though institutions of our great republic.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that sin entered the world through disobedience of man and woman in the Garden of Eden, to God's command to not eat fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. I believe that Jesus was born as a man. His ministry fulfilled the law and prophets. He called and trained Apostles to share the Gospel of Jesus to all reaches of the Earth. Jesus voluntarily became the substitutionary death on the cross to pay for the sins of anyone who believes in Him. He rose on the third day after His death and showed Himself to the Apostles and to Saul of Tarsus, who became Paul and also an Apostle. Jesus ascended to the Heavens to prepare his Kingdom for the arrival of those who believe in their hearts and profess with their mouths that He is Lord. Jesus will return for those that believe in Him and rapture us to Heaven at a time not revealed to us. The seven-year tribulation is eminent and upon conclusion, Christ's 1,000-year reign upon Earth will begin. Satan will be loosed from hell for a brief period then, thereafter, Jesus will uncreate the heaven and Earth and replace them anew with His Eternal Kingdom.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Each state must determine their election laws. I feel that Secretary of State or the entity that conducts elections for respective states must Swear an Oath under severe penalty that elections were conducted in strict compliance with state laws passed by state legislatures. No person or entity should be allowed to join into private and public partnership.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is not a threat to domestic security. The practice of any Branch of US Government promoting or establishing a protected class of people or entity is the threat to domestic security because the relationship pits people against each other across demographics. We are all Human Beings except for having different amounts of melanin.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

The answer coming closest to my view is letter A. Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Jesus is my moral compass and the author of freedom. The Declaration of Independence demonstrates an attitude and conviction by pastors, patriots and tribes that informs me that freedom is not free. That the national debt is a major concern facing our posterity that needs our immediate focus. The debt clock is on the front page of the Whalen for U.S. Senate webpage. The Abortion Counter is also on the campaign webpage too. Both are major issues demanding our immediate focus. I am a Veteran.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

To glorify God, I will profess the name of Jesus in the halls of Congress. How will they hear without a preacher? Our nation must stop kicking God from the public square and from our legislation. I will not be double minded or lukewarm with decision making in representing South Dakotans first as an America First, U.S. Senator. My civic guides shall be the Declaration of Independence, our nations proclamation for freedom. The Constitutional Republic as originally interpreted shall be my civic guide for governing with intent that Several States issued few and enumerated powers to the federal government and reserved all other powers to states. I believe strongly in States' Rights. That Indian Reservations were created by Congress as an experiment. That states are becoming like Indian Reservations right before their very eyes and we need to be awakened to immediately reverse that tragedy. That Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling is a priority. That Check off Reform is a priority. That enforcement of the Packers and Stockyards Act of 1921 is a priority.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

Police Officers deserve Due Process as equal to any United States Citizen. Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Nurses/Doctors, First Responders and our Military all deserve unending praise and thank you.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

I don't agree with sensitivity training that indoctrinates any public servant to feel inferior to other people because of career choice.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I have no restrictions for law-abiding gun owners. I have concerns with unnecessary laws restricting gun owners and constant attacks on the Second Amendment.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

The term "gun violence" sounds purely political. My firearms were never violent. My attitude and convictions do not allow me to be violent with a firearm or a pencil except for in self-defense.
