I do not support increasing taxes in any form. American citizens are taxed too much. The tax code should be simplified and reduced in regulation.

It depends on the circumstance and the department. I would first look at spending in the social services sector.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

We have tax-payer-funder public education through high school and we still cant successfully get an overwhelming majority of students to graduate from High School. Let's first seek to successfully graduate at least 98% of students from High school before considering paying for College.

NONE I refuse to have a Government controlled religion. If people choose to worship at their church during any National event, so be it. Again this gois along with freedom of choice.

Add required Voter Identification and verification of citizenship in order to vote. Similar to the new "Real" I.D.'s we have...I would like to see a voter I.D., once that isn't obtainable until citizenship is verified.

NO. There are far fewer racists today than there were 50 years ago. The bigger problem is Social Media and people trying to appear of certain social-economic status. Most people today do not see color.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

As long as their actions are not blatantly negligent.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

There are funds available for mental health and community programs without having to defund the police. Unfortunately for the current beurocrats those funds will be coming from their overinflated budgets once I am elected.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Current background checks and current laws are fine. We cannot limit the 2nd amendment.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

If this was law, then car manufacturers would also be sued in auto accidents and cutlery manufacturers would be liable for the obese and so on. That is a very slippery slope. When will we place blame and liability where it belongs, on the person committing the crime.
