QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Agree
Abortion providers should not receive funding for abortions. However, if every woman in America had accessible and affordable birth control, there would be no demand for abortions. Some of these programs provide low-cost birth control, and that needs to be protected.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
It is a personal decision, the government should not be involved.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Rape, Incest, or risk to the mother's life.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
Taking money from one person and giving it to another under threat of imprisonment (i.e. what the IRS does) is not charity. It is theft.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
We have the government our founding fathers warned us about. The size, scope, and strength of the federal government must be drastically reduced. We cannot allow the government to continue saddling future generations with unbearable debt in the name of shortsighted policy that only benefits the policymakers.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
It should be simplified.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
All of our current liberties are at risk and must be protected at all costs.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Both individuals and businesses are free to do as they please. If you do not like what a business stands for, vote with your dollars and take your hard-earned money somewhere else.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
If the government were to 100% fund healthcare then our hospitals would be as useful and efficient as the DMV or the Veterans Affairs. Government is not the answer. We need to remove the black box that the healthcare industry operates in and allow the American people to become consumers of healthcare. Forcing transparency of treatments, doctors, medicine, and their associated costs/risks would allow people to be more informed when making potentially life-changing choices about healthcare.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
The American Flag and the American People are a beacon of freedom to the world. Wherever freedom is threatened we must stand ready to answer the call to protect individual rights and liberties around the world.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Same thing it should do with domestic terrorists. Root them out at their source.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free." We are a nation of immigrants, and the diversity of our country is our greatest strength. However, people must be promptly and properly vetted. The current process takes years, and we are losing out on the valuable talents and resources these future Americans bring with them.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
The United States government is the originator and sustainer of racism in the United States. From the 3/5 compromise, fugitive slave laws, Jim Crow laws, Tuskegee experiments, etc, the government has codified racism in its own policies. I resent the very institution which passed and enforced these laws attempting to teach me or the American people about racism.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I grew up playing in the Praise & Worship band at church, and my Step-Father is an ordained minister. My faith is an integral part of my life. I believe in rugged individualism where each person is the master of their own destiny, and I want the government out of our day-to-day lives.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I find it hypocritical that "blue" states are requiring a vaccine ID to even walk into a restaurant, but somehow think that showing an ID to vote is discriminatory. If you need an ID to drive a car, get on a plane, or buy alcohol, then you certainly need one to vote.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
The Constitution of the United States left voting laws up to the states. Individual states understand their own unique cultures and needs far better than the bureaucrats in Washington, DC.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes. Anything that divides the American people is a threat to the domestic security of the United States. A house divided cannot stand.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
The US Government is the number one polluter in the world. They specifically exempted themselves from reporting on their own environmental damage. Approximately 900 of 1200 superfund sites in the United States are on government property. Long before the government tries telling individuals and businesses how to clean up their act, they need to address their own environment impact.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Lean Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
https://youtu.be/F1T7qnWxNw0
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I want the government as far away from me and the American people as is possible. The US Government is unable to solve even the most simple of problems without exasperating them. I would have to be convinced to vote for any new laws. We have too many laws on the books as it is.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Neutral
Police are put into dangerous situations on a daily basis and must make life or death decisions within a split second. I do not believe in blanket immunity, each and every incident must be decided upon individually as no two situations are alike.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
"... the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
