QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Not a single tax pater dollar should be used to fund abortions

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Choose not to answer

This is not a decision for the federal government to decide

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The federal government should never authorize abortions or provide support to abortion providers

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

The first amendment is pretty clear, but was rarely enforced during the lockdowns of 2020 and the censorship of 2021. This is not ok.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Individual rights include the right to have personal beliefs about what you will or will not do.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

The state exists to protect the freedom and rights of citizens, whether or not they attend church.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C. Our military should always be the strongest in the world. Authoritarian tyranny in Communist China is the biggest threat to American values and interests around the world. However, there are more cost effective ways to enforce our values than the traditional approaches of military support for allies.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

1. Economic sanctions 2. Vigorously enforce our borders 3. Maintain honor and safety for our embassies and ambassadors

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Governments should not tell citizens what to put in their bodies. Parents should have the right to decide what substances are put in their children. Employers should not tell employees what substances should be in their bodies. I support the science of vaccinations, but am 100% opposed to vaccine mandates.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

The federal government should keep their promises regarding Social Security and Medicare. The costs associated with those programs should be limited and based on the available resources at the time.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

A flat tax of 20% is the fairest way to provide equitable economic conditions.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Congress hides behind the complexity of their spending bills. It isn't that hard to limit the content of legislation to a single issue. Representatives need to vote the single issue bills and let citizens know where they stand on the issue. 900 page bills promote overspending and hide conflicts of interest.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Simplify the tax code by eliminating all deductions and loopholes. I support a 20% tax... period! Whether on a single dollar or a billion dollars of personal income the tax rate should be the same. This would save tremendous amounts of time and accounting costs, while providing a clear and fair environment for individuals and business to operate in.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

A nation without borders is not a nation

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We should have a more efficient process for vetting potential immigrants and advancing legal immigration. I support the introduction of a $100,000 citizenship mortgage payable over 30 years. This would eliminate the National Debt while only increasing the population by an average of 1% for each of the next 100 years.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Neutral

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Restrictions on the use of guns to commit crimes are important.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Reach out to me directly if you have questions on an issue

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

People in public office work for you. Don't vote for someone who refuses to engage with you. Reach out to candidates and see if they care enough to respond.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Choose not to answer

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian. I believe the Jesus Christ is the Son of God and I believe the Bible is the word of God.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

People should be able to access candidate information more easily. When candidates apply for ballot access, their official website should be made available to voters on a single document which could be reviewed prior to voting. An official .gov website with official links could achieve this at limited to no cost.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

The more important point is that people need to adhere to laws. Lawlessness and riots are a threat to American society.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Neutral

It is not the role of the federal government to weigh in on this issue.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

People have a right to expect clean water and air. Companies have the burden of responsibility to maintain the conditions that existed before their operations.
