QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Agree

I agree that human life deserves legal protection, with that protection beginning at the point a detectable heartbeat exists. A heartbeat is a clear, objective indicator of life, and once present, that life should be protected under the law while allowing for limited, clearly defined medical exceptions.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

While I approach this issue carefully, I believe human embryos created through artificial methods should not be deliberately destroyed. Advancements in science must be balanced with ethical responsibility, respect for human life, and clear limits to prevent abuse or exploitation.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I do not support elective abortion as a form of birth control. I believe every human life has value, and abortion should not be treated as a routine medical procedure. That said, I support limited exceptions in cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is in immediate danger. My focus is on protecting life while also supporting women through access to prenatal care, adoption options, and resources that help families choose life whenever possible.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

I strongly oppose using taxpayer dollars to fund abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood. Public funds should not support organizations that perform or promote abortion. Healthcare dollars should instead be directed toward services that protect life, support women, and provide non abortion medical care without violating the moral convictions of taxpayers.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Agree

I believe federal laws should be enforced consistently, but Congress, not agencies or courts, has a responsibility to clarify or update outdated statutes. Major policy decisions should be made through transparent legislation within constitutional limits, not through selective or expansive enforcement.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and private property rights are the foundation of economic growth, job creation, and individual freedom. When people are allowed to own property, invest, and operate businesses without excessive government interference, communities thrive and workers have more opportunity.

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Strongly Disagree

Higher taxes don’t help working families, lower costs, economic growth, and fiscal responsibility do. Families are best helped by keeping more of their own money, not expanding government dependency.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Runaway federal spending is driving the national debt. We need real spending cuts, fiscal discipline, and accountability, not higher taxes.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Eliminate duplicative federal programs Restore transparency and line item spending votes Cut excessive administrative spending Enforce accountability for fraud and abuse Require regular program reviews and sunset clauses

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No. The government should not compel individuals or businesses to provide services that violates one's moral or religious beliefs. Protecting religious liberty is a core constitutional principle.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

“Separation of church and state” means the government cannot establish or control a religion, and churches cannot be run by the state. It does not mean religious people must leave their beliefs at the door when participating in public life. Faith has always influenced the moral views of Americans, including our Founders. As an elected official, my job would be to uphold the Constitution while respecting religious freedom, not to silence people of faith or impose a state religion.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Medicare and Medicaid should be preserved for seniors, the disabled, and those who truly need assistance. Beyond that, healthcare should be driven by competition, transparency, and private-sector innovation, not expanded government control. No American should be required to purchase health insurance, nor should anyone be punished or penalized by the government for choosing not to have coverage.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Neutral

I understand the need for reliable data to assess healthcare costs and outcomes, but I have serious concerns about privacy, government overreach, and misuse of personal medical information. Any data used for cost analysis should be anonymized, limited in scope, and strictly protected, and the federal government should not maintain databases that track individuals medical conditions.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

The United States has become far too involved in foreign conflicts that do not directly threaten our national security or sovereignty. Our priority should be defending America, securing our borders, and protecting our citizens, not endless overseas interventions or nation-building. Military action should only be considered when there is a clear, imminent threat to the United States, and it must serve a defined national interest with an exit strategy.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious threats to U.S. national security, including military, cyber, intellectual property, and economic risks. The United States must take these threats seriously and respond with strong protections for our security, technology, and supply chains. I also believe foreign governments and adversarial entities should not be allowed to purchase or control American land or critical assets, as this raises legitimate national security and sovereignty concerns.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

The United States relationship with Israel is important for strategic and security reasons. However, no foreign nation should receive unconditional support. U.S. aid must serve American interests and include accountability. If any country chooses to act independently and disregard U.S. guidance, American taxpayers should not be expected to fund those actions.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Strongly Agree

Violent Islamist extremist groups pose a real threat to U.S. national security through terrorism, radicalization, and global networks. This threat comes from extremist ideologies, not from peaceful Muslims, and it should be addressed through strong intelligence, border security, and counterterrorism efforts.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Immigration should be legal, controlled, and based on merit. Individuals who follow the law, pass background checks, respect American values, and contribute positively to society should be welcomed. The United States should prioritize border security, enforce existing laws, and focus on immigrants who strengthen our economy and communities, not unchecked or illegal entry.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose sanctuary cities because they undermine federal law and create uneven enforcement of immigration policies. These policies put law abiding citizens and legal immigrants at greater risk by limiting cooperation with law enforcement. Immigration laws should be enforced consistently, and public safety should always come first.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Education is not one size fits all. States and local communities are better equipped to address their students needs than the federal government. Returning control to states, parents, and local school districts allows for more flexibility, accountability, and solutions tailored to local challenges, while reducing federal overreach and waste.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments should not fund American education. Allowing foreign state funding creates national security risks and opens the door to outside influence over curriculum, research, and values. Our schools should serve American students and interests, free from foreign pressure or ideological influence.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Children should be protected from irreversible medical or social decisions they are not mature enough to make. Attempts to physically or socially transition minors place ideology above a child’s well-being. Kids should be allowed to grow, learn, and develop without pressure, while parents and doctors focus on care, counseling, and protecting children, not pushing permanent outcomes.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Marriage is a religious institution defined by faith, and the government should not force churches to change their beliefs or practices. Churches must retain the right to define marriage according to their doctrine, including the right to decline performing same sex marriages. This position is about protecting religious freedom, not opposing or discriminating against gay individuals, who deserve respect and equal protection under the law.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and base my values on faith, personal responsibility, humility, and service to others. My beliefs emphasize treating people with respect, protecting individual freedom, and doing what is right even when it is difficult. While my faith guides my moral compass, I respect the freedom of others to hold different beliefs.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Voting is a fundamental right, and protecting its integrity is essential. Requiring photo identification is a reasonable safeguard that helps ensure fair and secure elections. ID is required for many everyday activities, and voting should be no different. This protects legal voters and strengthens confidence in our electoral system.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Women deserve privacy, safety, and fair competition. Sex based sports and private spaces exist for real biological and safety reasons. Personal identity beliefs should not require others to ignore biological reality or compromise women’s rights, safety, or fairness.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Oil and natural gas are the most reliable and scalable energy sources to meet growing electricity demand. They provide consistent baseload power, support grid stability, and are essential for industry, transportation, and national security. Renewable

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No. I have never been penalized for sexual misconduct in civil or criminal court. I take issues of consent, boundaries, and personal safety seriously, and I believe strongly in protecting others from harm.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I consider myself a constitutionalist. My views are grounded in the U.S. Constitution, limited government, individual liberty, and the rule of law. I evaluate issues based on what the Constitution allows and what best serves the American people, not political labels or party pressure.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

The government has a moral and legal duty to protect children from sexual exploitation, especially online. Those who prey on children should face the harshest penalties available under the law, including long federal prison sentences and, in the most severe cases, capital punishment. Children are innocent and must be protected. My faith teaches that it is better to face severe consequences than to harm a child.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None, the Second Amendment protects an individual right as the Founders intended. Law abiding Americans should not be burdened by excessive gun laws that do not stop criminals. Public safety is best protected by enforcing existing laws, holding offenders accountable, and rolling back unnecessary regulations that infringe on constitutional rights, not by further restricting lawful gun ownership.
