OTHER INFORMATION
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I can think of none.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I support the FAIRTax. Abolish the IRS and the income tax and replace with a national consumption tax (the FAIRTax).
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
While the state (nationally) is not permitted to establish a national religion, separation of church and state as general understood is a fallacy. The church has a role in policy making and governing, so as to keep the government in check with its Biblical mandates to reward the good, punish the evil-doer, and ensure an environment where all are free to worship without interference.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I don't believe we should require anyone to put a substance into their body if they don't want to.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
I'd have to say somewhere between C and D. I don't believe healthcare, like education and numerous other areas, is a Federal responsibility. It certainly isn't an enumerated power. Healthcare, like education and all the other areas where the Fed. gov't has overstepped its authority, should be a state and local issue.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
Mostly C. We have no authority to go in to nations uninvited, nor should we be the world's police force. Also, we must understand that our version of democracy and government may not work in all parts of the world. And that's OK.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Islamic terrorism is a global threat and is best solved through global sharing of intel, resources, etc. There also needs to be an education campaign to counter the radicalization of individuals who become terrorists. Might be harder in some nations, but home-grown terrorism can be reduced in this way.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Our nation is one of opportunity for all. And millions have scratched and clawed their way to attainment of the American Dream. However, there is a legal process for coming to this country. Those are the circumstances. Legal immigration.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian, saved by faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He is my Lord and Savior. I strive to live my life to God's glory, and although I fail because I am human, I know what victory awaits me.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I'm actually not a huge fan of early voting, and I don't like mail in voting without 100% assurance that the person casting the vote legitimately cast the vote. I think paper ballots, in person to the fullest extent possible, is probably the most secure way to vote. Full audits should be conducted after each election to ensure the sanctity of the vote and keep the voters confident their vote counts.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. Because it is a manufactured problem by race pimps and certain media outlets. Racism does exist, but not to the extent we're forced to believe. The constant cry of racism is simply another of the left's tactics to divide our nation.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. Restrictions and regulations generally hurt everything.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Ballotpedia, MCPLive.tv
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
no
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
We're in a fight for the very survival of our nation as a free Republic. We need conservative voices at all levels of government, but just being conservative isn't enough. We need warriors who understand the threat the left poses to our nation. We need to understand the damage already done and the need to reverse it inch by inch, policy by policy, regulation by regulation, unconstitutional department and bureaucracy by unconstitutional department and bureaucracy. Every legislative action I take will be toward the goal of shrinking government and putting in back in its Constitutional box.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Neutral
We tread a very thin line here between allowing officers to do their jobs PROPERLY and those instances when they do violate the rights of others, even when operating within policy. Several states are currently looking at doing away with qualified immunity. It bears some consideration (see this article: https://blog.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2021/12/florida-bills-would-create-a-state-process-to-end-qualified-immunity/?fbclid=IwAR0WJGlVByOvYtFqPegojTMv27YC-_vWxBv2GaxYSYLBCaWtD90LZU6zmh8)
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Neutral
There may be some benefit to increasing funds for mental health and community programs. Where that money comes from is up to the locality and the voters.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Might as well sue the spoon maker for folks eating too much.
