QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Life starts at conception, not perception. The Science of Embryology states that each conception creates a unique human being at the earliest stage of development. Life, an unalienable right from our Creator, is beyond federal or state jurisdiction, falling under God's domain. We don't need more laws; we need to enforce existing laws against murder. Electing Constitutional Conservatives committed to the rule of law is the path to uphold these truths.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Disagree

Considering my belief that abortion is murder and murder is illegal, the question of safety standards for chemical abortion drugs becomes moot. I advocate for the protection of life from conception, thus rendering these drugs unnecessary and irrelevant. The focus should be on upholding laws that safeguard life, aligning with the principle that life is an unalienable right from conception.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

As a staunch pro-life advocate, I believe in protecting life from conception. Therefore, I do not support elective abortions. I am committed to upholding the sanctity of life, as I believe every life has innate value, and we must protect it at all costs.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

Yes, the federal government has a crucial role in limiting abortion. Their responsibility is to protect our inalienable rights, including the paramount right to life, as stated in the Declaration of Independence. I will fight for federal legislation that declares the personhood of the unborn, granting them constitutional protection. For example, I fully support the Life at Conception Act, which aligns with the 14th Amendment. Moreover, I propose redirecting funds from organizations performing abortions to those offering comprehensive women's health services without abortion. Additionally, I support enhancing laws that safeguard unborn children and their mothers and actively promoting adoption as a positive alternative. These steps are essential to uphold the fundamental right to life and confirm the government's duty to defend this vital principle.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Thomas Jefferson's phrase to the Danbury Baptists defines 'separation of church and state' as the government neither establishing a state religion nor hindering religious practice. It's about ensuring church-state independence, not removing God from state affairs. This principle protects religious freedom, allows personal faith without government intrusion, and safeguards the state from control by any single religious group.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Respecting religious liberty and individual conscience is fundamental to a free society. Mandating service provisions against one's beliefs infringes on constitutional rights and undermines the principles of liberty and freedom of expression.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

My view aligns with C. The U.S. must prioritize its sovereignty and focus on internal strength as the cornerstone of national security. While global engagement is essential, excessive involvement in foreign conflicts can detract from our stability. We should intervene only when there's an immediate threat to our nation. Doing this ensures that we dedicate America's resources to strengthening our domestic front, which is crucial for a robust national security strategy and a resilient America.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Militarily, their rapid advancement challenges our defense capabilities. In cybersecurity, they're involved in espionage and data theft. Their IP violations hinder American innovation. Economically, the CCP's aggressive tactics disrupt global markets, affecting U.S. economic stability. A comprehensive strategy is vital to counter these threats and protect national security and economic interests.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, the U.S.-Israel relationship is vital. Israel is a key democratic ally in a complex region, often demonstrating a commitment to peace, notably in land-for-peace deals. America's support reinforces a stable, democratic ally in the Middle East. This alliance aligns with U.S. interests in regional stability and counterterrorism. A strong America enhances our capacity to support Israel, ensuring a secure and mutually beneficial partnership addressing shared challenges.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

I believe the causes of decline are mainly due to the infiltration of DEI, CRT, LGBTQ, and ESG ideologies in schools, workplaces, and the military. This shift towards teaching a revisionist, often negative view of American history and values discourages young people from serving a country we teach hates them. Reestablishing a sense of national pride and an accurate, balanced understanding of our history in educational institutions is critical to boosting military service motivation.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Government, schools, or employers should never mandate vaccinations. Medical liberty is paramount, ensuring each individual's right to choose their healthcare, including vaccinations, without coercion or pressure.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I align with D, advocating for an eventual transition from all government-funded healthcare, including Medicaid and Medicare, because I believe that forced taxation for social programs is inherently socialist. HOWEVER, it's vital to transition responsibly, respecting those who've invested in these systems. We should move towards a free-market healthcare model that upholds individual choice and minimizes government intervention, ensuring a fair and sustainable system for future generations.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

The FairTax ends all federal income-based taxes and shifts to a consumption tax, which empowers Americans to control their tax payments. This plan will boost economic growth and job creation and safeguard Social Security and Medicare.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Strongly Agree

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the burden to those not responsible for the debt. It's unjust to taxpayers and those who paid off their loans or avoided debt. We need to reduce education costs and promote alternatives like trade schools. Ending government subsidies to universities and enforcing a free-market system in higher education will address the root causes of high student debt and create a fair, sustainable solution.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

No, public funds should not be invested based on ESG ratings. Financial performance and risk assessment should drive investments, not social or environmental agendas. Using ESG as a criterion can lead to politicization of public funds and potentially compromise investment returns. Our priority should be the economic stability and growth of the public's investments, ensuring they are managed with fiscal responsibility and not influenced by subjective, non-financial factors.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Yes, deploying more personnel to actively repel this invasion is essential for national security. We've seen over 8 Million illegal crossings since Biden took office and Mayorkas was appointed. In October 2023, we caught 4,000 Chinese nationals who crossed illegally. This is an invasion. We need a moratorium on immigration, cessation of welfare and benefits to illegals, strict control of ports of entry, and immediate deportation of all illegals.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Immigration without assimilation is an invasion. U.S. immigration should prioritize merit and our economic needs, welcoming skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and those aligned with American values and culture. Strict vetting is vital... While supporting family reunification, we must balance it with our national capacity. Ensuring the well-being and security of American citizens is paramount in shaping our immigration policy.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

Yes, I strongly support unregulated school choice. Funding should follow the child without governmental strings attached. This approach ensures parents have the freedom to choose the best educational path for their children, free from unnecessary regulation, thus preserving educational liberty and promoting diverse educational opportunities.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Eliminating the U.S. Department of Education would decentralize control, empowering states and local communities to tailor education to their unique needs. This shift would enhance educational diversity, foster innovation, and reduce federal overreach, allowing for more responsive and effective educational policies that reflect the values and priorities of local communities.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Effective law enforcement is essential for public safety. While community initiatives are valuable, their funding shouldn't weaken police resources. Both are crucial for societal well-being and require balanced, separate funding to maintain law and order.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

As a Second Amendment purist, there should be no restrictions on gun ownership. 'Shall not be infringed' is clear and unmistakable in the Constitution. The right to bear arms is fundamental for self-defense, deterring tyranny, and preserving liberty. Ensuring public safety should focus on enforcing existing laws and addressing the root causes of crime rather than imposing new restrictions on law-abiding citizens' constitutional rights.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Strongly Disagree

Increasing Supreme Court seats undermines its historical integrity. It's been nine since 1869, ensuring stability and preventing politicization. Expansion could lead to 'court packing' for ideological gains, eroding trust in this crucial judicial body. We must preserve its impartiality to maintain constitutional balance and respect our founding principles.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The general purpose of government is to protect its citizens' fundamental rights and freedoms, uphold the rule of law, and ensure domestic tranquility and national defense. It should provide the framework for a functioning society where individuals can pursue life, liberty, and happiness without interference.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Marriage, a religious institution, should be beyond government regulation but recognized legally. Advocating limited government, I believe in separating marriage from state affairs—no tax breaks based on marital status or government-imposed definitions. Marriage is a religious covenant, defined traditionally yet acknowledged by the state solely for legal reasons.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Children, as society's future, are inherently vulnerable and must be shielded from ideologies and practices like gender indoctrination and grooming that compromise their innate potential. Protecting them is not just a duty but a moral imperative to preserve the purity and sanctity of childhood and to uphold the natural rights and dignity of every young life.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

The Constitution limits the scope of government expenditure, and such services fall outside these bounds. Taxation should only support essential and universally applicable public services, adhering to the constitutional principles of limited government and respect for individual choice and responsibility.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a born-again Christian, I believe in objective truth as revealed in the Gospel, reflecting God's unchanging nature. This truth provides an absolute moral standard for distinguishing right from wrong. Following Jesus Christ's teachings, I emphasize love, compassion, and service, guided by biblical principles of justice, mercy, and integrity. My commitment to Scripture's absolute truth shapes my life and public service, ensuring leadership grounded in enduring principles in a world where truth is often seen as relative.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Ensuring the integrity and security of our electoral process is paramount, and requiring photo ID is a reasonable measure to prevent fraud and confirm voter identity. This practice is standard in many areas of life and should apply to one of our most vital duties as citizens. Implementing such measures protects the legitimacy of every vote and upholds confidence in our electoral process.

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

The electoral college is essential for balancing interests between populous and less populated states, preventing a tyranny of the majority. This system ensures all regions are heard in presidential elections, upholding federalism and diverse interests across the U.S. It's fundamental to our Constitutional Republic and electoral fairness.

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT implies that U.S. institutions are inherently racist and suggests we should judge others by the color of their skin instead of the content of their character. While recognizing our complex history, I advocate for reform and unity. CRT undermines progress in civil rights and fosters division, overlooking individual responsibility. We need a balanced approach that honors past struggles and current strides toward equality, promoting inclusivity based on character and merit.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

My stance is about ensuring fairness, safety, and privacy. In sports, physical and biological differences can give biological males an unfair advantage, undermining the integrity of women's sports. In private spaces, the presence of biological males can compromise the safety and comfort of women, particularly in vulnerable settings. Upholding these boundaries respects the rights and well-being of women in these environments.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

I don't believe man-made climate change is a global threat requiring urgent political action. Research by Dr. Willie Soon suggests that natural phenomena drive climate change more than human activity. We must base policies on balanced scientific evidence, not alarmism. Rational environmental stewardship is necessary, but we must avoid drastic measures that could harm economic stability and personal liberties based on unsettled science.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear power is the most reliable for growing electricity demand. It's consistent, weather-independent, and environmentally efficient, crucial for our expanding economy.
