RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

The US Federal Government should not be in the business of murdering innocent lives. Abortion providers and all funding to perform or provide abortions should be eradicated in the United States just as slavery has been. If and when the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, and I do believe that it will be overturned, it will be national recognition that this issue is not a constitutional issue, and direct power back to the states and allow local communities to decide what laws govern abortion.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

I would not support such policy or legislation. However, I would support legislation that would further affirm doctors to adhere to principles linked to the Hippocratic Oath, under which doctors promise to use their skills and ethical standards to help the sick, effectively pledging not to euthanize a patient, perform abortions (when it is not a life-or-death situation), or prescribe abortifacient drugs.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only in the event of a life-or-death situation where the mother could die from complications. As a father of four daughters, I would have to protect my daughters first.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

If we redistribute wealth, then in essence, we are dismantling freedom in our Constitutional Republic and setting up the platform for Communism and the proletariat system that places complete control of free markets, market competition, trade, free enterprise, and property, solely in the hands of the government. I believe in equal opportunity, not equal outcome.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

With more than 5 trillion dollars for relief and stimulus spending in 2020 and 2021, our congress needs to cut spending, quickly. In the last 2 years we have seen an unprecedented lack of fiscal responsibility through mostly unnecessary pandemic entitlements such as extended unemployment benefits, extended rent moratoriums, and increased tax credits. Much of this has made the landscape quite difficult for small businesses to secure adequate staff to retain high quality service.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

We need to retain the low corporate tax corporate from Trump's tax reform. This will protect and strengthen America's economy and lessen our dependence on foreign nations providing cheap labor. We saw the results of America’s lack of preparedness and our dependence on China during the pandemic. The Biden Administration calls for tax provision of raising the corporate tax rate to 28%. The Republicans in Congress should push for extensions of Trump's “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act” due to the Covid-19 lockdowns under the current tax code signed into law by the Trump Administration: I concur with Justin Haskin's article where he said: “The fact is, Republicans' 2017 tax reform law did exactly what was promised: It lowered taxes for all income groups, provided the greatest benefits for middle-income households, and spurred economic growth that helped reduce poverty and improve prosperity. It would be a grave mistake for Democrats to eliminate key parts of this important legislation." According to recent IRS data, it shows that the tax reform law, which included a variety of business tax cuts including a large reduction in the corporate income tax rate, spurred economic mobility.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

The invaluable right of religious liberty, freedom of worship, and praise to God is the very first amendment in the Constitution and must be protected with all vigor and zeal of spirit against its removal by Marxist-Communist insurrectionists vowing to destroy the last domino of freedom. This effort of evil must be stopped swiftly. Without the First Amendment, there is no America, no sovereignty and no posterity.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Case and point would be Masterpiece Cakeshop Ltd. v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission. A baker, Jack Phillips, refused to create products that contain alcohol, celebrate Halloween, or communicate messages prohibited by his Christian faith such as racism, atheism, and marriages that are not between one man and one woman. The Supreme Court ruled 7-2 in Mr. Phillips favor stating that the Civil Rights Commission was hostile towards his sincerely held religious beliefs and violated the Constitution.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

The quagmire of Church and State is inextricably linked to a letter Thomas Jefferson penned in 1802 to the Danbury, Connecticut, Baptist Association in which he described the First Amendment as erecting a "wall of separation between church and state." That metaphor today has been used as a mechanism to suppress and restrict the exercise of faith in the public square and within civil government to serve as a testament that alludes to the concept of separation. It is not what was expressed by the First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” In other words, the federal government can not make you go to church or establish such a practice as mandatory. The government is not in the business of the salvation of souls. Nor can they hinder the flow of religious liberties; this would be a direct violation of Americans constitutional rights. This letter was actually a pleasant exchange between the then sitting President Thomas Jefferson and his constituents about the protections of religious liberties. The Baptists were seeking clarity on the President’s position of disestablishment, the action of removing a Church or similar organized group from its official position, and no longer officially supporting it. Thomas Jefferson wrote them back and he used a metaphor, a phrase that, as the Supreme Court once noted, has come to be accepted as an authoritative declaration of the scope and meaning of the First Amendment. I tend to agree with many political scholars that this letter was not an indication of separation, but was establishing the First Amendment. Moreover, I tend to agree with author Daniel Dreisbach who stated: “The metaphor emphasizes the concept of separation, unlike the First Amendment which speaks in terms of disestablishment, or non establishment to be more precise, and of the free exercise of religion. Furthermore, the wall of separation metaphor, unlike the First Amendment, imposes restrictions on religion and religious perspectives. The literal text of the First Amendment restricts government only; whereas a wall, given its bilateral nature, restricts the role of religion and faith communities as well. The wall metaphor implies that the First Amendment restricts people of faith, religious spokesmen, and religious leaders also, but that’s far beyond the requirement of the text of the First Amendment.” He further states: “I think metaphors are a beautiful part of our literary heritage. I love metaphors. But I think that there is grounds for some caution in their use in a legal context. In legal discourse we need precision of expression: specific, strict, orderly adherence to rules and past judicial decisions and statutes. Metaphors are by definition comparisons of two things which are not actually identical. That is the case with the wall of separation. The wall of separation might help give us some insight into understanding the First Amendment, but it carries with it things that are dissimilar to what the First Amendment is about. Those dissimilarities introduce misconceptualizations about the First Amendment. So I believe we should indulge the use of metaphors in legal rhetoric with great caution.” Quoted Source: Thomas Jefferson and the Wall of Separation Between Church and State: An Interview with Author Daniel Dreisbach

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

No Circumstances, vaccinations should be available to all and required for none. The Federal government in cahoots with foriegn agents has constituted what many Americans believe as a wide scale global fraud upon the American people, as well as all around the world. In efforts that were orchestrated and premeditated by China Wuhan labs, Big Pharma Oligarchs, BIG Technocrats, and CDC patent pundits, used manipulation, false science, indoctrination, and forced inoculation that caused the deaths of hundreds of thousand of Americans. Inspired by greed, it was a large step in their goal to herd 7 billion people toward a tyrannical one world government ideology. It was eugenics and population control in late 2019 through 2020-2021. I would pass legislation to protect medical freedoms to offset any massive medical schemes in the future, exactly like we just witnessed during the China Communist Party virus pandemic. All of the following guidelines must be implemented to protect American citizens and the legislation must follow the Constitution to the letter. First, all Americans will retain full control of their own body autonomy and medical freedoms as it relates to any substance being injected in their body. This legislation would be carefully written so as not to have any loop hole for abortion, as the baby’s body is their own as well. It would never allow forced inoculation or promotion by the government through false advertisement and media promotion for the engagement of work, school, church, or the entering of any establishment. There would be no face mask requirements, lockdowns, social distancing requirements, travel mandate requirements that include inoculation for border crossing, nor any vaccine passport requirements. This process would also preclude the agencies including CDC, NIH, WHO, United Nations, and any known agencies who profited off the deaths of Americans under the current use of vaccines that were offered during the 2020-2021 pandemic. In addition, the legislation would require that all Covid deaths be investigated and if proven that these vaccinations have caused deaths directly, then compensation would be required from Big Pharma and any other related parties that have profited by deaths of innocent Americans. Each State could appoint independent boards of medical professionals (not Governor autocrats) with varying medical opinions for civil discourse to address full options available for providing care to Americans. It would be an independent counsel that could be provided guidance by hundreds of doctors with sworn Hippocratic Oaths, as well as a pledge to only administer long-term treatments with all known side effects fully disclosed beforehand. It would include a “no special interest” clause ensuring independence from profiteering businesses. For Big Pharma, a large percentage of the profits paid specifically by state/ federal dollars would be held in lieu of interest for all Americans who had suffered vaccine injuries. During a pandemic there will be stop gaps and caps to stop profiteering off of those in poor health. These measures would be guided directly for those administering drugs. Any conflict of interests must be fully disclosed and approved by board members with no ties to profit directly, through a special panel of citizens directly involved in the state where those drugs are being administered. I believe that this legislation should be created to place these protections for medical freedoms, proper oversight, pandemic preparedness, and full transparency for citizens to understand exactly what their options are without political “scientists” leading the daily discussion. Americans must be provided with medical freedom protections when taking a vaccine. Corporations must be held to account as it relates to the responsibility and liability of drugs sold under their banner. This legislation also would repel The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986. There has to be accountability for every American who suffers an injury or death due to vaccines and medical drugs. There must be panels of doctors providing information with industry experience and no media disinformation campaigns, blocking vital, life saving information. Even after this, I still believe that Congress should require further due diligence by the states and that all medical freedoms of US citizens, protected by the law, should get advice only through direct communication of their own physician; not the President’s, and/or the Presidential appointees peddling fear and political propaganda.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Answer would be C. That most closely describes my view on healthcare.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C. I believe in and support the America First agenda. Before we intervene in foreign affairs, our own country needs to be secure. With millions of illegal immigrants flooding through our borders, our priority should be in our own national security before attention is invested in other countries. It’s only when America is strong that we can truly strengthen other countries.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The BDS movement is an antisemitic movement that does not give priority to reaching a fair and reasonable solution to the Israeli-Palestine conflict. I do not support them at all. Furthermore, by removing the separation barrier in the West Bank, it would constitute a risk in national security for Israel, which is something that the United States, a long friend and ally of Israel, should not support.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

On top of the threats stated above, apps like Tik Tok have algorithms built into the application that cause the erosion of culture by teaching and promoting our youth to apply their focus on somewhat useless skills. Specific videos and content are then promoted and duplicated by other teens wanting to be part of the trend. Coupled with Hollywood’s clear departure from American values and willingness to push Chinese propaganda on our citizens, this clear attack on American values

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The United States needs to have a clear objective. I believe to be the “police force" of the world is not the objective of the United States Military. Using surveillance and other technologies, the United States should monitor the threat of Islamic terrorism. However, we should only engage in activity when American citizens lives are threatened, or threats become clear on American soil. The endless wars in the middle east must stop!

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

I strongly support legislation that will finish the border wall, started by President Trump. I believe in making legal immigration efficient, while becoming stricter and tougher on illegal immigration.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

There are many different pathways of immigration into the US. As it stands, only people who have committed serious violations of US law and international law are unable to immigrate. The top circumstances that allow for immigration into the US are family unification related, humanitarian related, and employment related. I am not against immigration. If someone is able to come to this country and become a productive citizen, paying their taxes and contributing to the welfare of the public, that is a good thing, *as long as they come here legally*. The who and what policy as it relates to immigration don’t need to be changed, except for higher level background checks. For example, the Biden Administration letting in thousands of Afghans without proper vetting and background checks was horrendous and something we need to make sure (through legislation) never happens again. The length of the bureaucratic process should be heavily considered as well, as most of the laws were implemented in the later half of the 20th century, when technology was limited. I believe we can make the process much more efficient for both during the immigration process, and after they have immigrated as it relates to periodic check-ins, tracking, etc..

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I believe there are two genders, male and female. Last time I checked, they both have been granted full constitutional rights and freedoms as provided under the constitution as every other citizen in America. I will never support indoctrinating the sexualization of our children.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Critical Race theory in essence is a “Red Herring” argument just as CRT is a form of propaganda that asserts that education in this country can simply be fixed from a social standpoint solely on race. The fallacy here is that the true issues in public education are economic and it all stems from the Department of Education and how the money for the student is utilized. Most of the education problems in America can be solved by having the funding follow the student and not the facility.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a man of Christian faith and Kingdom principles with the Bible serving as a compass of my conscience and the measurement of my morality.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

In fact, by allowing the voting process to exist without voter identification, the election process is put at risk by not verifying each voter through a voter identification process. This actually marginalizes the disenfranchised with security loops like lack of voter identification. It also creates issues of integrity and fraud by opening the door to allow citizens who are willing to break laws by making fraud and voter integrity even easier to manipulate. Voter ID laws safeguard elections.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

All voter roles should be purged of all deceased registrants. In North Carolina, the 2020 election finding recorded 7,933 North Carolinians were still registered to vote long after death in 2020. North Carolina needs to address Interstate Duplicate Registrations. Over 42,984 have left the state according to Public Interest Legal Foundation. NC should also participate in state sharing agreements or interstate compacts to track NC voter registration who either move to or die in other states. Moreover, voter ID should be required to vote, paper ballots should be required. No electronic ballot machines should be connected to the internet and we should only use machines made in America. Mail-in ballots must be received by the day of the election in order to count. We need to upgrade the current system to force out all dual Same-Address Duplicate Registrations, disallowing multiple registrations with the NC voter registration system.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

This question has been mainly debated over slavery about the current population of Black Americans like me living now. I do not support Reparations. I do not support redistribution of wealth. I support 21st century preparations. I would support more financial planning for black Americans and all Americans. That’s what I have done for the last 15 years by helping teach and provide financial solutions to the black communities through financial literacy.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

It may very well be in a very small faction, at best. However, the racism narrative is a broken record with a dying record player on the verge of being replaced with truth of the entire historical record of all the suppressed history that really needs to be put forth in the public square to give credence and solace to the powerful roles played by Black and Brown people in America. From the Revolutionary period and every battle every fought by Americans, Black and Brown people held significant roles in these feats of victory and also suffered grave losses. The stories need to be told of those individuals who have played vital roles in helping to establish this great country called America. The healing begins when Americans surrender the pain of hurt, anger, and malice, for that of forgiveness, and restoration; of a new beginning to see that opportunities are available to every American, regardless of who they may be individually as long as they are willing to pay the price for success. Then and only then can we come together as the United States of America and have a fresh start of resolution, restoration, and revitalization. If we lived in a systematically racist country, my story of the high school graduate, poor, young father who turned to be a successful entrepreneur, who took on the political establishment as a US Senate candidate, with no name recognition, no money, only faith in my heart to believe that God would see me through to the finish, would be impossible. It is only possible in America.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree and support the use of hydraulic fracturing as there have been deemed safe and effective methods to extract oil and natural gas resources. Fracking has opened up an American independence with natural gas and has created thousands of jobs in the energy sector. We must regulate and utilize oversight in this area as there are methods that do harm the environment. Organizations or companies that use those methods should have consequences delivered for harming the environment.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) However there must be a certain amount of regulation and environmental laws. But more recently our federal bureaucracy has become overloaded with regulations and laws that counteract energy and manufacturing production. A complete overhaul of Energy and Environmental laws will need to be examined as special interests and lobbyists have allowed for a constant ‘red tape' for energy construction specifically. For example Offshore wind farms have been trying for years to build a farm on the east coast offshore in the Atlantic ocean and the projects are constantly being shut down due to environmental concerns mainly fueled by lobbyists and special interest groups. Wind, considered to be a “green” energy, is stonewalled constantly on regulations and environmental laws from an myriad of approaches. This is just one example of the constant “red tape” that shuts down jobs and hurts our energy sector and grid.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

As an conservative constitutionalist who will also seek to follow it as the resolution of permanent solution. The issues and problems in society today and tomorrow must be grounded with morality otherwise the dark path of despotism is forthcoming.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

Police lives are on the line every second they are on duty they need to be able to focus on handling every situation with extreme professionalism and not be worrying about the public viewing them with targets on their backs. And the Police Department should hold full responsibility for the actions of their officers and carry the liability of those risks.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support defunding the Police. It's radical policy to believe that we do not need law and order in the country. Without law and order we have no safe community and public safety is at peril. We have seen the destruction of blue cities that refuse to implement a strong law enforcement presence. Within their communities, it creates high level risk for loss of life for Police Officers, destruction for local businesses, higher levels of crime because criminals feel emboldened by the chaos.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe in the second amendment as it was originally written to mean: a safeguard against an uprising of a tyrannical government. For that reason, I believe there shouldn’t be licenses administered from the state to be able to carry, open or concealed. However, I also believe that having an informed society is vital to having a safe society. For that reason, I support having to go through classes as a prerequisite for carrying a firearm. Once the classes have been completed, the instructor(s) will be able to give a certification that will be shown upon purchasing a firearm. This will allow people to carry without the government's intervention while staying safe and informed.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Victims of automobile accidents do not sue manufacturers typically unless there was a faulty piece of equipment or recall. The gun manufacturer always provides proper safety instructions for handling firearms, nor can gun manufacturers be held accountable for the actions of individuals who have attained their product legally or illegally if they were safely stored.
