OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE*

*Additional information was received after the evaluation was assigned and was not considered in the Panel Evaluations, therefore it is for additional educational purposes only.
RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

rape, incest or in the case that the mothers life is in danger

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I would look at and support any legislation to help reduce and simplify our current U.S. tax codes

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

I stand by our U.S. Constitution (1st Amendment): Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

The entities listed here should only require vaccinations that have been thoroughly tested and proven to be safe for the vast majority of citizens (ex. measles, polio, etc.). I am absolutely against the government mandating a vaccine that is "experimental" and that hasn't been tested through the proper procedures that have been successful in the past (ex. Covid Vaccines).

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Medicaid and Medicare should remain available for those that need it, but should be heavily scrutinized to eliminate or minimize waste, fraud and abuse

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. Our military should be focused on OUR national defense and sovereignty first and foremost.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Put Trump back in office!!

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Any properly vetted person who comes to this country seeking asylum or to immigrate, and completes our U.S. Immigration policies set forth by Congress

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Agree

Every U.S. citizen should be afforded the same protections under our constitution regardless of gender or sexual orientation.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Our educational system should NOT be a political platform for attempting to indoctrinate our children! Activism has NO place in our school systems, and the teaching of Critical race theory, gender neutrality and division through skin color, demographics or financial status is nothing but poison to our children.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a faithful man of God and understand that I have flaws under the eyes of God. I believe that the Bible is the true inspired word of God and follow His guidance.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

In order to keep our elections safe and fair for U.S. citizens, proof of citizenship (ie. photo ID) should be required in every election in this country.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I support all legislation that strengthens Election integrity in this country. I strongly support National Voter ID laws and feel that an All-Paper Ballots system with civilian oversight (and SAME-DAY voting) should be imposed.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

This is insane!

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. This is nothing more than a political means to separate and divide citizens in order to retain power over the masses.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. There has to be a balance that keeps Americans safe without destroying jobs and our economy.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am a blue-collar public servant raised by a blue-collar family, like so many others in our nations middle class. I know firsthand the struggles of our nation’s largest class of citizens, the working class. We are over-taxed and underappreciated - and see our hard-earned dollars go to foreign nations and special interest groups that do NOT put Americans First! I am ready to be part of the solution and I am willing to bring some South MS common sense to Washington DC. I am ready to take the necessary steps to bring this country back to We The People. I am ready for Congress to show accountability, and I am ready to take that STAND and fight for equal representation for every person in the 4th District. We the people are the engine that makes this nation thrive, but no longer can we put our trust in fake Congressmen who only have their own self-interest in mind. It’s time to vote for people who will truly represent US! It’s time for change! The American people have the power to make it happen – and I believe that’s gonna start right here in south MS! • I am 100% pro-life, period. I will fight to ban abortion, enact a federal heartbeat bill, and preserve the Hyde Amendment to protect ALL God’s children • I will fight to bring integrity back to our Immigration policies, finish the wall at the southern border, and ensure law enforcement has the resources they need to keep us safe. • I will fight for Election integrity by supporting National Voter ID laws and an All-Paper Ballots system with civilian oversight. No more of these secret ballots in secret rooms. • I will push for a Balanced Budget Amendment that will FINALLY hold our elected officials accountable for our nation’s debts and spending. • I intend to keep Law and order as a top priority. Unlike Joe Biden’s “BRANDON” administration who are more interested in funding the Taliban and other radical groups like BLM and ANTIFA than our own police and military. • And I will fight fearlessly to protect the sanctity of the second amendment, the one that protects all of the others The GOP needs fighters - not career politicians or individuals who continue to promise that they have the experience to be in Washington – we have more than our share of those, and they are destroying this nation – one freedom at a time. We need people who will fight! Fight to protect our Sovereignty, our Constitution and our freedoms from those who wish to destroy this country.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

As a career law enforcement officer I understand that there has to be policies in place to protect individual officers from frivolous cases, but this should, in no way, protect an individual who commits a criminal act

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Our current policies in line with our Constitutional rights (2nd Amendment) regarding gun ownership should be fully enforced - background checks, age restrictions, etc.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
