QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
At 10 years old, I stood at my mother's bedside as she bled to death following childbirth. Her death was preventable if there had been a doctor there to care for her. This is what led me to become a doctor - so no mother would have to suffer like she did and no child would have to experience what I experienced. As a doctor, I have traveled the world providing free, life-saving surgeries on babies with heart conditions. I've spent my live saving lives & I believe all life is precious. Life begins at conception. When the sperm and egg meets, it is the point of no return and that life must be protected. I am against all abortion; with the only exception being in the rare cases where the physical life of the mother is in imminent danger.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
We must set the example by being a beacon of hope for all individuals seeking to peaceful practice the religion of their choice
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Vaccinations are a private decision between a patient and a doctor
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Reduce the corporate income tax; provide meaningful property tax reform
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Every agency and department should be evaluated for inefficiencies and waste must be cut
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
Not every child needs to follow the traditional path of high school to college. We need more students in the trades and vocational schools must be an option.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
I came here legally; others should too
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Those who are willing to follow our laws, embrace the Constitution and assimilate into our society and follow the legal immigration process.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
When I was 10 years old, my mother bled to death in front of me following childbirth because there was no doctor to care for her. That incident led me to want to become a doctor. Following the advice of a Peace Corps Volunteer who told me that if I worked hard, I could achieve anything in America, I arrived in New York City as a teenager on a student visa with just $20 in my pocket. After years of sacrifice and hard work, I became a Harvard-trained heart and lung surgeon. This is the greatest country in the world; but, it is under assault. I want to be Governor for our children. I want to make sure the American Dream that I was able to experience can still be a reality for them. Our leaders in Harrisburg have failed us. Our education system, our health care system, our economy are all in a catastrophic state because of poor leadership and poor management. I have been a leader in one of the largest and most complex industries in America - the healthcare industry - and I have and will always espouse excellence in everything I do. If we continue to set low standards, we will continue to get poor outcomes. Pennsylvania is at a crossroads. We cannot continue to recycle the same old candidates and expect a different outcome. It is time for a new kind of leadership - a compassionate, conservative, critical-thinker.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Repeal Act 77; Require Voter ID
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes. Racism is a means of dividing people and there are those in society who wish to propagate racism for political expediency. Theories like Critical Race Theory are meant to instill division among our children in order to tear this nation apart internally.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.
