OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I believe that there is no circumstance in which abortion should be permitted. Many raise the concern that there are a small percentage of times where a mother's life would be at risk in continuing to carry a child. I acknowledge that fact and understand that there are times when an induced labor or emergency C-Section to save the life of a mother result in the death of a child, but in a way that is more natural and presents lower risk to the mother than an abortion.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The tax code should be rewritten in such a way that presents itself to the average American in a comprehensible, simple, and straightforward manner. I believe that a flat tax would be part of a reasonable solution.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

The phrase "separation of church and state" is often taken out of context but was originally intended to keep the government from holding a state religion. The first amendment clearly states that the government has zero authority on the affairs of religious observation.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstances should any organization be allowed to require vaccinations or pressure any individual into disclosing personal healthcare decisions.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

At this point in our society, I believe that Medicare and Medicaid should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary because leaving healthcare to the private sector has been proven to provide better quality of care. In the long run, I stand by the fact that charity is better accomplished by the people than the government, so I would be in support of a transition from Medicaid to private charitable institutions.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

The view that most closely resembles mine is that the United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

American legislative and executive agencies, along with American military power, must fundamentally understand radical Islamic terrorism to its core. Only then will the United States, through its respective agencies, be capable of combatting the threat of Islamic terrorism. To keep the threat from entering the United States, we need to utilize every possible source of information in our vetting of immigrants that enter our country. This will ensure that we do not open the door to terrorism on American soil. We must also build a robust cyber warfare infrastructure that will combat radicalization coming from the outside via the internet to prevent the potential for homegrown terrorist actions.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

All individuals should have the opportunity to immigrate to the U.S., provided they can successfully undergo a robust vetting process. Those who successfully pass through our vetting process and choose to become American citizens have a responsibility to, while being free to hold firm to their cultural heritage, fully embrace the unique culture of America and what it stands for.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian, and therefore hold strongly to the founding principles of America, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Following every federal election, each state should conduct a forensic audit for the purpose of being transparent and accountable to the people that each and every election law established by their respective state legislatures was followed in that election. If laws are found to be broken, those responsible for the corruption of the election process need to be held accountable and punished under the law.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No, because the United States is a nation that is not systemically racist, but rather supports equal opportunity and equal treatment under the law regardless of race.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

A major legislative priority is to work to eliminate the one-size-fits-all mentality from our education system. Children, teachers, parents, and communities alike would greatly benefit from bringing the decision-making authority of our schools back to the local level so that our children can be better served and we can gain back the ground that has been lost in proficiency rates. I will also work to reduce regulation and pave the way for apprenticeships and trade programs to be brought into our high schools so that our graduates are better equipped with the tools that they need to begin participation in the workforce.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

Our police departments would benefit from the development of mental health infrastructure and programs to be utilized where appropriate, but this needs to be in addition to well-funded and supported law enforcement agencies.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
