QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am torn somewhat on this, being very conservative, I don't understand the republican position on government butting into private lives but a fetus is a life and government should protect all life. I am open to debate on this issue but I am hard pressed to find any situation where a woman should not have made a decision by the 6th week of pregnancy. This decision should be made between the woman, her physician and her GOD. GOD is who she will ultimately answer to.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I can provide a multitude of items at the federal level but would need to get there to determine where costs can be cut at the state level. I have no doubt, there's plenty of places. Wouldn't it be nice to know just how cheaply our government can operate and probably more effectively.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
That the state may not impose a specific religion on the people they govern such as Catholic or Methodist. It in no way means we are not a nation of God fearing people. Just with the masks, those who choose differently are free to do so but not force others to follow. We have never been a nation without God and never should be.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I don't know what was wrong with what we had before the government had to stick their nose into our private business. The free market works and charity handles the rest. One problem with healthcare costs is that a third party pays for the expense of another so there can be a lack of oversight. More control in that area could be beneficial to bring costs down. How many people really look at their medical bills that are being paid by insurance?
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Those who are willing to wait in line and do it legally and desire to contribute to the success of this nation should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. Those who are in danger in their own country should be allowed to migrate to the closest place of safe haven but citizenship should be reserved for those who come here legally.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.
Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
Promotion of the LGBT agenda in public schools, including teaching of “sexual orientation” and “gender identity”, is completely inappropriate and should be opposed at the state and local level.
Strongly Agree
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I have always believed in God but having lost a child at an early age, with my limited knowledge, I believed God did not love me and I was not one of the chosen ones. I wasted many years of life feeling this way but after getting my law degree late in life, I decided to study the Bible. I've spent 15 years in Bible Study Fellowship, International and have learned so much. It's a 10 year program but I still lack People of the Promise Land, Part II. I'm still a work in progree.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
Since I am a private citizen and never held public office, this is a hard one to answer. I am a member of Rush Limbaugh's 24/7, my husband is sick and tired of listening to Fox News, NewsMax and OAN, and my children are tired of conservative talk radio. Otherwise, you would have to ask anyone who knows me.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
My accounting and legal education has provided knowledge and experience in a wide range of positions. I took over management of a couple of homeowner associations because of fraud and abuse from previous boards and management companies. I knew nothing about this at the time but in 4 years, totally renovated the property, with the same monthly income where others could not even keep up with the bills. I'd love the opportunity to find the waste and abuse in our government.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am not a career politician but would love to see our country get control over its government. I have several ideas to work with similar like-minded individuals for ways to accomplish this. I believe that is all President Trump wanted to accomplish when he ran for President but those already in office had different ideas. After all, it is their gravy train and for whatever reason, the news is on their side. It scares me to think of the many people who take all that is reported as truth without looking at other sources. My goal is to work for the people who have a voice but like me, no means to express it.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Keep guns out of the hands of criminals. Since that is obviously not possible, let's keep guns in the hands of law abiding citizens so that a criminal never knows what he may face when performing a criminal act.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Neutral
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1. School Choice 2. Elected officials who fail to show up for work will have their job deemed abandoned and a special election will take place to fill it. 3. Should the US government violate our constitution by packing the Supreme Court, adding states for additional senators, or getting rid of the filibuster; Texas will exercise its right to secede from the Union.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. The continued use of racism to keep Americans divided are a threat to our domestic security. Our press, which we protect via the US Constitution, is the biggest threat to our domestic security.
