QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
None
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Nor should they be required by the government to violate moral/religious beliefs as a requirement for contracts.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
As a Soldier, I couldn’t agree more.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
It is. Important because it is a strategic alliance, because we should keep our word to enforce treaties, and also important because it is defending the Jewish Nation from attempted genocide. Besides all the obvious reasons, to allow Israel to fall would be to minimize all the incredible sacrifices made during World War 2.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Medicare should remain available as there are premiums paid for Medicare. Medicaid is socialized healthcare.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None. I pledge to submit legislation to end ALL shot mandates, increase the informed consent thresholds, and I also promise not to accept any campaign donations from Big Pharma.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on the minimum wage?
We should have merit based wages
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
Not only that, but no other “equitable” type of rating system should be used, such as “well-being” or “resilience.”
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
As a Soldier, and as a Texan, I couldn’t agree more; no other candidate in the race for HD 5 has any combat experience or training, which makes me an ideal candidate for this job at this time and place.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
The money should follow the child, but without any government strings attached. School choice is not an excuse for the state to steal more parental rights away, we should be protecting parental rights and restoring government and government education transparency and accountability.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Violent felony criminals forfeit their right by violating the rights of others. Other than that, none.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
I have not.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No, I have not.
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for common defense, promote the general welfare, and to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Transitioning children should be wholly outlawed (it isn’t) and things like ‘packers’ for 3 year old girls should be legally considered child abuse. A person is not allowed to physically abuse a child, and giving a 3 year old a faux penis to wear is most certainly abusive.
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Parents should have the right to make decisions that do not physically harm their children. Electively cutting of your child’s leg isn’t within parental rights, neither is cutting off their genitals.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Taxpayer funds should not be shed to provide transition services, nor should taxpayer funds be used to fund colleges that provide “transition therapies,” as the state budget currently does. This practice needs to end IMMEDIATELY.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
We need to modify birth certificates in Texas to clearly identify a persons’ biological sex. A person in Texas can (and has) electively changed their sex by a simple request, like a name change. This should not be allowed. If marriage is between a man and a woman, then Texas needs to codify into law what a man and a woman is, XX or XY.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian, I believe in the Holy Trinity, that God created the earth and all things in it, was there before the foundation of the earth, Jesus is the Word that spoke creation into being, the Holy Spirit is the breath and wind that crosses over the earth and resides in the spirit of every Christian. God sent Jesus Christ, His only Son, to die for our sins, Jesus died and rose the third day. Any who believe in Him will not die a spiritual death but be risen with Him in New Earth.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Not in the sense the progressive left tries to make it a threat. The radical ideologies taught within CRT and other Marxist theories are inherently racist and promote anarchy and violence. In this manner, racism is a domestic threat.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Absolutely 10000% not, quite the contrary, America is rooted in Christian Biblical principles. If anyone challenges this I would refer them to Wallbuilders & David Barton.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Legislation needs to be submitted and passed making ALL of those effective, and to include hospital services, psychological/mental health services, etcetera. I pledge to submit legislation on this, if elected.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
A. I’d like to add that increasing environmental regs and laws is a major tool used by the progressive left that would like to see humanity reduced by billions of lives. We must stand up to this nonsense and say NO in a firm, unified voice.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear.
