QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Disagree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
It's not the government's place to plan its citizens' families. That's between their parents and their God. As governor, I understand my responsibilities to respect my constituents' rights over their own bodies. Disregarding that fundamental right is a step toward tyranny.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Agree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Agree
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
This is an example of a manipulatively phrased question. A balanced budget requires balance. Areas of inefficiency and in Sacramento's regulatory departments can and should be streamlined to serve Californians, reducing waste. Large corporations that have lobbied to get away without paying their fair share need to be held accountable. Building a tax base of small and medium sized businesses in our communities that aren't over regulated makes a resilient, balanced budget.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Disagree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Disagree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
No
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
The government can't "close" a church. A church is the faith that burns in the hearts of its congregation. The government has a responsibility to act in the interest of public safety, though, including mandating that CDC guidelines be followed by any governmental or tax deductible agency. Asking people to pray and sing from a distance or out under God's sun is a simple test of faith, not persecution.
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Under no circumstances will my personal spiritual beliefs countermand the duties and responsibilities sworn to my fellow citizens as a public servant of California. Spiritual debates are important to culture and humanity, but have no place in public policy.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Neutral
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Single. Payer. Option.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Disagree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. "Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" Priority should be given to immigrants from countries adversely affected by American foreign policies. If my Irish grandparents has been kept from following the immigrant's dream, I wouldn't be able to have this magical candidate experience.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I began life as a Catholic. From that beginning I've tried to seek out the true and good parts of any spiritual philosophy and learn to practice them in my life. I pray every day, and know something higher will guides my every move. Everyone should have the freedom I've had to explore their spiritual side and find their own angels.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Liberal
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
My platform includes a range of policies from "progressive" to "conservative": cannabis decriminalization, support for easing gun restrictions, strong support a LGBTQA+ equality, advancing the place of small businesses in our economy, closing corporate tax loopholes. Policy positions can be liberal or conservative. Real people are more complicated than that. There's not a box to check for what I am, or what you are either.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
As an policy advocate I've engaged with policymakers, regulators, law enforcement, and business owners around the state and in Sacramento. I know the system. 18 years of experience in Wall Street gave me the ability to consider and work with large organizations and the money it takes to run them. I know the economy. A lifetime as a woman working in industries dominated by mediocre men taught me what was wrong with the system that exists now. I know the issues.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I'm not a politician. I'm driven to run to protect my community. California is continuing the War on Drugs, directing funding for militarized hardware and assault weapons to be used against legal cannabis operators by the Department of Cannabis Control.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Did not answer
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
A well regulated militia must be just that, well regulated. Not over-regulated. Gun manufacturers and retailers must be held accountable for safe products, but Californians need safe access to keep and display their firearms responsibly. Safety education is the most important role the government should have in citizen's gun ownership.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Agree
The Electoral College should be abolished.

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1. I will exercise the option to amend Prop 64 to protect small businesses, expel predatory business practices, and build a thriving economic pillar from the world's fines cannabis. 2. I will propose legislation to ease restrictions on open and concealed carrying of handguns. 3. I will address the water crisis in California with proactive, sustainable, data-driven policy.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
White supremacist nationalism is visibly corroding the institution of democracy. There is no denying the events of January 6th. If an armed insurrection into the nation's capital including bombs in offices of *both parties* isn't a threat to domestic security, then the words don't have any meaning.
