14. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?
The founders saw the States and Federal governments in very different ways. There was fear an unlimited Federal government would become as much a source of tyranny as monarchy. States were to be free and sovereign. Mankind's leaders, as the scriptures say, seek to be served, not serve. The founders wanted to create a form of government that would have the potential to maintain freedom from tyranny, and demand individuals to live up to their sacred honor and public duty, in freedom.
15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
1) Restoring the first amendment prohibition on establishing religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. I believe the Federal establishment of charity programs has undermined the religious institutions in America, and made the citizens dependent on government, not God and religious institutions for charity. This has weakened the role of religion, and undermined religious establishments. When Pastors and Deacons deferred members to government institutions, the government is acting as a religious institution. 2) Restoring democracy by seeking legislation that would weaken the power of the political parties and strengthen the power of individuals. As long as the parties can limit the number of candidates running in the primaries, the likelihood of incumbents being reelected is nearly guaranteed. Eliminating the ability to transfer funds between election committees would help reduce the ability of leaders to buy influence. 3) Freedom to choose behavior and consequences
16. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
Prohibition proved that you can not stop what people will choose to do. Abortion, and other behaviors, should have clear consequences that citizens understand if they choose that behavior. The consequences for frivolous abortion should be higher than the consequences under extenuating circumstances.

18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I serve my Lord Jesus Christ at all times. I seek to be a servant to others as HE was a servant to all. Eternity is real. Surrender to Jesus as Lord in life, is required for Eternity to be in heaven, rather than hell. Keeping the law, religious or governmental, has value in this life, but no value for entrance into heaven. Those who have submitted to Jesus as Lord will keep the laws of man and God, but law is not the path to salvation. All men are sinners, and need to be saved. Government laws that mimic scriptural laws lead to legalism and dead religion, which is part of the wisdom of the founders to not allow government established religion. Church membership does not equate to salvation, consider Matt 7:21-23
