What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
As California Insurance Commissioner, 2022. It is my goal to have the California Legislature and Governor pass single payer healthcare for ALL Californians. The only way this will happen is if you work with insurance companies, and they will get the legilation passed. As a Green Party Candidate, and Commissioner, when elected to office, I will not take any Corporate Donations, or Dark Money. I will have pure department transparency and will honor and respect the sunshine laws. Even more important, is I will work tirelessly, for the Californians that put me into office and believe in my sincere ability to serve the. I will go through the Inurance Department, its policies, and regulations, and make sure that the Californians (consumers) always come out the winners!
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

I believe all police should be initially and periodically screened for racist views, and violence towards all people. Mental Health providers, and interventionists should go on Domestic Violence or Mental Health calls. They should be the deciding bodies in these situations, not Police.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
All gun owners must have a background check. Period. No one with a history of mental illness, domestic violence should be banned from owni g a gun. Guns can only be bought and used by the person who is getting the background check. They can not be purchased as "gifts!" No assault rifles, barrel cartidges, and multiple gun loaders, and clips should be allowed on the street and in hunting.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
