QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Elective abortion should be limited once a detectable heartbeat is present, with exceptions for threats to the mother’s life or serious physical harm, rape or incest, and conditions incompatible with life after birth. Treatment of ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages is not elective abortion. A responsible pro-life policy must protect both mother and child while expanding healthcare, adoption, childcare, and practical support so women do not face difficult pregnancies alone.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

Human embryos created through IVF deserve protection from purposeful destruction. Parents should be given reasonable options, including continued storage or voluntary embryo adoption and donation to another family. Clinics should require clear written decisions before embryos are created and establish responsible procedures for abandoned embryos.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I support the federal minimum wage as a basic wage floor. Beyond that, wages should rise through economic growth, skills training and competition, not mandates that eliminate entry-level jobs or place unsustainable burdens on small businesses.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise rewards innovation, hard work and responsible risk-taking, while private-property rights provide the security needed to invest, build businesses and create jobs.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

My priorities are: 1) performance-based budgeting that eliminates programs failing to produce measurable results; 2) regular independent audits and sunset reviews; 3) consolidating duplicative agencies, technology and administrative functions; 4) stronger oversight of contracts, purchasing and fraud; and 5) selling unused state property. Every tax dollar should serve a legitimate public purpose, and ineffective programs should be reformed or ended.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state means government may neither establish a religion nor prohibit its free exercise. It protects churches from government control and citizens from compelled belief. It does not require people of faith to abandon their convictions in public life. Government should remain neutral among religions while defending every person’s right to worship or not worship according to conscience.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

I disagree when the service requires custom expression that violates sincerely held beliefs. The Supreme Court ruled the First Amendment does not permit government to force anyone to express, celebrate or endorse a message contrary to conscience.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C most closely reflects my view, but it is incomplete. Medicare and Medicaid should remain strong for seniors, people with disabilities, children, and eligible low-income families. I also support Georgia Pathways, which extends coverage to qualifying low-income adults engaged in work, education, training, caregiving, or community service while preserving private insurance choices and encouraging independence not government controlled healthcare for all.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Disagree

A government database linking identifiable people to medical conditions creates serious privacy, cybersecurity, discrimination, and government-overreach risks. It could be misused by employers, insurers, agencies, or political actors, and “economic burden” may reduce patients to costs rather than human beings. Public-health planning should rely on voluntary, de-identified, aggregated data with strict limits, independent oversight, and penalties for misuse.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree. The Chinese Communist Party threatens America through military expansion, cyberattacks, intellectual-property theft, economic coercion, espionage and control of critical supply chains. The United States must strengthen its military, protect infrastructure and technology, reshore essential manufacturing, defend Taiwan and our allies, and confront unfair trade practices while avoiding dependence on an authoritarian adversary.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. Israel is a vital democratic ally in a dangerous region and an important partner in intelligence, defense, technology and counterterrorism. Our relationship strengthens American security, helps deter Iran and terrorist organizations, and reflects shared democratic values. The United States should support Israel’s right to exist and defend itself while encouraging lasting peace, regional stability and protection of innocent civilians.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly disagree. No city should disregard federal or state immigration law or obstruct lawful cooperation with immigration authorities. Jurisdictions that adopt sanctuary policies should be investigated and held accountable through appropriate legal action, including loss of discretionary funding where authorized. No local government is above the law.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

I support returning education authority to states, local school boards, parents and teachers. Washington should not impose costly, one-size-fits-all mandates on classrooms it does not understand. Any elimination of the U.S. Department of Education must responsibly preserve essential protections and ensure existing federal education funds follow students without creating a new bureaucracy. Education decisions belong closer to the children they affect.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

I support prohibiting hostile foreign governments from funding American schools or using money to influence curriculum, research, hiring, or campus policy. Funding from allied nations for legitimate scholarships or transparent research partnerships should undergo strict disclosure and security review. American education must never be purchased or controlled by foreign governments.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that parents have the fundamental right and responsibility to direct their children’s healthcare and education. However, parental authority is not unlimited when irreversible or potentially harmful medical interventions are involved. Government should protect minors from puberty-blocking drugs prescribed for gender transition while preserving their use for established medical conditions such as precocious puberty.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Children experiencing gender distress deserve compassionate mental-health care and thorough evaluation. Irreversible medical interventions should not be performed until adulthood, and schools or institutions should not participate in socially transition a minor. Laws must protect children from parents that desire their children to transition until they are adults and can make that decision.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I believe marriage, as a matter of faith, is a sacred union between one man and one woman. Current law separately recognizes civil marriage, including same-sex marriage, under federal law. Government has judged we must respect those civil rights while protecting the First Amendment rights of churches, clergy and individuals to hold, teach and practice their sincere religious beliefs without being compelled to perform or endorse ceremonies contrary to their faith.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Neutral

Illegal online sports betting already occurs in Georgia without meaningful oversight. If voters authorize it by constitutional amendment, I support strict guardrails: age verification, advertising limits, consumer protections, addiction treatment funding and enforcement. I remain neutral on casinos pending review of their economic benefits and social costs. Any expansion must respect local control, use revenue transparently and receive voter approval.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a God-fearing Christian who believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the Bible as God’s authoritative Word. My faith teaches that salvation comes through grace, that every person has God-given dignity, and that we are called to love our neighbors, serve those in need, protect life and seek justice with humility. I believe in prayer, personal responsibility, religious liberty and living my faith through actions not merely words.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly disagree. Requiring photo identification is a reasonable safeguard that helps confirm every voter is who they claim to be, protects legitimate ballots and strengthens public confidence in elections. Georgia should continue providing free voter ID cards and ensure eligible citizens can obtain identification easily. Secure elections and broad voter participation are not competing goals, we can and must protect both.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

I disagree with government awarding reparations. Americans should not be assigned collective guilt or entitlement because of ancestry. Public policy should address demonstrable harm and individual need through race-neutral solutions that unite Americans rather than divide them.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

100 % Agree. I believe women and girls deserve privacy, safety and fair competition in sports, bathrooms, locker rooms, shelters, prisons and other sex-separated spaces. Biological differences matter, especially in athletics and intimate settings. I voted for legislation protecting women and girls from biological males entering female sports and designated spaces while requiring that every person be treated with dignity and provided reasonable accommodations.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Neutral

Climate change deserves responsible action, but fear-driven mandates that raise energy prices, destroy jobs or weaken America are not the answer. I support an all-of-the-above strategy emphasizing nuclear power, natural gas, conservation, resilient infrastructure and American innovation. Solutions must be affordable, reliable and measurable while holding major global polluters accountable. Economic security and environmental stewardship should advance together.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear power is the most reliable long-term source for growing electricity demand. We should expand nuclear generation and maintain natural gas as a dependable partner to keep America’s power grid reliable, affordable and secure.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I am a conservative who supports limited, accountable government, lower taxes, free enterprise, secure borders and elections, strong defense, public safety, protection of life, parental rights, religious liberty and the Constitution. Conservatism must deliver safer communities, affordable healthcare, better schools, stronger families and greater opportunity while helping neighbors in need build a path to self-sufficiency.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The criminal justice system should uphold the law, protect the public, support victims, preserve due process and impose fair, proportionate consequences. Dangerous offenders must be separated from society, while those willing to change should have access to treatment, education and rehabilitation. Authorities should cooperate with federal officials when a noncitizen who commits a serious crime is lawfully subject to removal.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

I agree. Georgia has strengthened protections by making online grooming of minors a felony and clarifying that digitally altered child-sexual-abuse material is prosecutable. The state also enacted law requiring age verification and parental consent for minors on social media, restricting targeted advertising, and expanding internet-safety education. We must continue giving law enforcement the tools to identify predators and protect children online.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Constitution, not Sharia law or any other religious code is the supreme law of the United States. No religious rule may override constitutional rights, criminal law, equal protection or due process. Americans shall remain free to practice their faith and voluntarily follow religious teachings in their private lives, but government courts must apply American law equally to everyone without establishing or enforcing any religion.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Gun ownership should be restricted for violent felons and individuals adjudicated mentally incompetent or subject to qualifying domestic-violence orders, with full due process. Government should enforce existing laws against violent crime, straw purchases and illegal trafficking. I oppose bans on commonly owned firearms or restrictions that burden law-abiding citizens while criminals ignore the law.
