QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Without government funding before viability which about six months
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Agree
We need to protect the women's safety
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Government needs to protect the babies in the uterus.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
God decide the time and manor of death
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
If the building burns down and it is unsafe to enter the church synagogue mosque, or temple the government can keep people out. Other than that the government has no business restrict when were or how people worship.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
If you have a religious objection you should be able to exercise that objection.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
The Chinese Communist Party openly states they want to rule the world, we should take them at their word.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Israel is defending Jewish and Christian value and stands up for Western Civilization. If Israel falls Western Civilization and likely the United States will fall as well as Western Society.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Health care should be market based and decisions should be made by doctors and patients. The government should move to health care savings for individuals and slowly get out of Medicare. The government should help insure the truly indigent
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Vaccinations should be strongly encouraged but not required
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
I basically follow the economic principles of Adam Smith and Milton Friedman
What is your position on the minimum wage?
The free market should set wages .
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
No - Public money should be invested to maximize return for public pensions. Social issue should have zero to do with it.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Strong nations need secure borders. We need to vet who enters our nation, to make sure they are not h ere for nefarious reasons, and we should admit people to our nation who have the capacity to take care of themselves and add to society.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
Parents should have rights. Government run politically correct schools offer a bad education and sending children to such schools is an uneducated decision.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
Law and order is a primary function of government. An armed robbery needs a police office with gun to arrive fast. Waiting for a social worker to arrive will get people killed.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Limited - Felons and the mentally ill should not have access to fire arms but law abiding citizens should have access to fire arms for self defense. The Second Amendment lets us defend our selves to live an other day and enjoy the other nine amendments in the Bill of Rights.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
Responsible trained teachers should have the options to carry fire arms in schools.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
no
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Establish law and order and protect property rights, build and maintain basic public infrastructure.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
I think we should follow our religious values and the wording of the Constitution
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
If society does not protect children our future is lost. The purpose of government is to protect the vulnerable form predators. However, the primary job of protecting children rest with parents.
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Young children are not developed enough to make certain decisions. Children should not buy drugs, vote, make medical decisions, sign contracts, get married, consent to sex, drive a car, fly an airplane, enter the labor force, and certain other things.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Elective medical service should not be paid for by taxpayers nor those who pay insurance premiums.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Disagree
The government can legalize unions of individuals as it see fit for the the social and economic betterment of society. My marriage to my wife (a female) was done and is subject to Jewish law. The government can't and will never alter that.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am an observant Jew. I value innocents life. Those who are not Jewish but follow the Seven Laws of Noah: prohibitions against idolatry, blasphemy, murder, sexual immorality, theft, eating flesh from a living animal, and the obligation to establish courts of justice, will be fine in terms of their soul. From a policy view I will follow the actual words of the United States Constitution and the New Jersey Constitution. I believe in American exceptionalism and free enterprise and property rights. I thing strong families make for strong communities which makes for a great state and nation
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Agree
Election need to vetted to avoid fraud, photo identification is a valid and fair tool in this regard. Also we should have an election day, not an election season.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Disagree
The Electoral College forces candidates to visit state and not run campaigns for media centers. It also makes it more difficult to manipulate or cheat in an elections. It is a good thing.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racisms is wrong and needs to be addressed. Leader and all people of good will need to call it out when they see it. However, it is best addressed via a meritocracy that does not consider race as a factor. It can harm the United States but it is not the biggest threat to our security. The big threat is not being able to trust people and to have not be able to have diverse ideas.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Race is more about individual moral decisions than about institutions - Institution should strive to be merit based.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Women need protected spaces such as bathrooms, locker rooms, sports, and other places. Biology is a binary function derived from God
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
I will answer A & C - We need to protect the environment however, climate change and it immediate impact is greatly exaggerated in the media. Science has been politicized and thus climate or humans changing climate is vastly overstated. Climate change is mostly caused by China and India, we need a strong economy and strong nation to empower or force environmental change world wide. We need common sense regulation for clean water, air, and land but we don't need job killing regulations.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear power should be pushed. It is safe and clean an reliable and works 24/7 - 365 days a year. In the United State in the last quarter century more people died falling of roofs while installing solar panels than dies in nuclear accidents.
