What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. Working with President Trump, we helped break people free from the trap of Obamacare – this disastrous program was always about control over people’s lives rather than better healthcare for Americans. I worked to expand more affordable options for health coverage that better fit what people need. My efforts were always focused on empowering patients and relationships with their doctors.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

What is your position on the minimum wage?
While well intended, minimum wage laws have the effect of harming low-skilled workers by effectively outlawing their ability to get a job. Imperial data clearly demonstrates that minimum wage laws do more harm than good.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

The very concept of private property is undermined by never ending property taxes, and that is why I am the most vocal proponent of fully eliminating property taxes in Texas.

I have been ranked the most fiscally conservative member of the Texas legislature. I have filed legislation to cut approximately $90 billion out of the Texas budget. I have also filed countless pieces of legislation to end taxpayer funded DEI. I have filed countless pieces of legislation to end taxpayer funding of transgender indoctrination. I have filed legislation to repeal billions of dollars in crony corporatism, corporate welfare, and Hollywood subsidies.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

I am proud to have helped President Trump secure the border during his first term as his Chief of Staff at the agency which implemented Title 42, which allowed for immediate deportations. The right to keep and bear arms must not be infringed. Period. Law abiding gun ownership should not be infringed in any manner. Rather, our local, state, and federal law enforcement should be focused on criminals. I am a strong defender of the 2nd Amendment and proudly endorsed by Gun Owners of America.

I have opposed some previous efforts to expand gambling while having supported others, such as expanding charitable bingo.

My faith in God and Jesus Christ as my savior is core to my beliefs. As a graduate of Ovilla Christian School and as a son who campaigned alongside his father on behalf of conservative Christian values, I have carried that activism forward into my professional life.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.

I helped lead the charge to successfully stop the Texas Secretary of State's office from issuing regular ballots to people with non-citizen IDs. I have been a loud proponent of strengthening Texas's voter ID laws (which currently do not actually require a photo ID).
