Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I also believe we as a community of Christians must operate by one of Jesus' last commandments to his apostles: To love, as he loved. Jesus loved all people, however, I've noticed in the world today, we as Christians are not showing love to all people regardless of their circumstances, beliefs or values. We can still love people, respect them and honor them, even if we don't agree. We must learn to be disagreeable and still honor and respect our fellow humans.

ABOUT YOU

Why are you running for this office?

The sole focus for running is ensuring our children have the best opportunity to have a great education. Having children that are educated, well rounded citizens makes for a better future for everyone. Running for Humble ISD Board of Trustees has a great impact on influencing our future leaders and I want to assist in that effort.

A candidate's personal moral values should not be relevant when considering a candidacy for elective office.

Strongly Disagree

Which of the 11 objectives specified in the Texas Education Code is your highest priority?

What books have had the most profound impact on your view of life?

1. The Bible 2. The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership 3. The Compound Effect

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

The accumulation of my career experience also lends to aiding Humble ISD be an even better school district than it already is. I have a background in scholastic technology catering to the ever-changing landscape of how technology can be used to enhance education. When it comes to the safety our students, faculty, and staff, I have a background in the medical and security risk management industry; whether it is active shooter training, workplace violence training or working with the Center for Disease Control (CDC), I look to lean on these experiences to add value to our district. One of my greatest joys is working with children on leadership and having a growth mindset.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
