OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

No Answer

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Disagree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Neutral

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I am more supportive of abortion if the individual is supportive of it. Abortion is a matter of personal choice and the individual's conscious and so the individual making the decision should do so without Government's interference or obstruction. My goal is to remove Government from the individual's decision when it comes to personal choice. As far as I can remember, Government has never gotten pregnant before and so Government is not in the position to know how it feels to face an abortion decision. My take is, the individual in the moment is able to make a weighted personal decision and if the individual needs support it should be there and available through private offerings regardless of anti- or not funded by the Government.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

There are presumably tons of waste that are going to be looked at. Harder to say from a distance without a closer consideration. I can tell you this that I will be introducing legislation that adds $0.05 to $0.10 tax on grocery plastic bags so plastics aren't making way into our waterways and those funds will be used to support a Cleaner Florida. I will also introduce legislation that pays YOU for recycling your plastic bottles and gallons at your nearest retailers.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Disagree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The diction 'separation' goes at heart of the meaning. I am a Christian but I should not and do not allowed my Christian's belief to conjoin with or solely direct my duty as a Representative of a gay and cisgender constituents. I have learned to suspend my faith and address every issue with reasonableness, equality and clarity knowing that I am a Representative of gays, atheists and people of faith.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Agree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

It begins with a threshold. Final decision will take into considerations the experts' opinions. I like decision based on considering all facts. Nevertheless, if an individual is working and their income is at a threshold and s/he cannot afford healthcare, Government ought to step in and mitigate that burden including for folks among us with limiting circumstances.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Disagree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We are going to have to take a look at our definition of immigrant and their criteria. I believe we ought to allow immigrants worthy of immigration and by that I mean not folks trying to hurt us.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Disagree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God the father Almighty. I believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that the spirit within me is God's presence giving life to my mortal body and my duty is to live my life as God directs it. I can live my life, I cannot live yours. You are accountable for your choosing as I am for mine. I believe in Jesus' teaching that we are all stained and condemned and so I am careful in passing judgement. I believe in looking after the poor the widow the fatherless and motherless kids.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

As an example, my view on gay is that folks who want to be gay should be gay. I do not believe that the government should have a say in the individual's personal choice. As much as I am for folks pursuing whatever relationship that they agreed to pursuing, I do not think that the Government should relax it's rules to accommodate something that isn't at the threshold of what is. Gay marriage as an example should definitely be an agreement between homo individuals but I do not believe that it amounts to the Government long standing definitions of what a Marriage is because it falls short of the threshold of what the Government's definition of marriage is. In other words, salt is not sugar even though they look alike. And because you want your salt to become sugar does not necessarily make it sugar since it would not fit the definition of what sugar is, I am saying, call your salt a sugar even though it does not fit the definition of sugar but do not expect the Government to.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

In college at Southwest Minnesota State University as a student of Public Administration, I served as a Student Senator. I was then elected Student Body Vice President of the Student Government Association without bid for the office. My experience of representing the Students Community is no different than representing YOU and I am doing it REFUSING Salary as YOUR Representative.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Emmanuel's REFUSING Salary as YOUR Representative. I am vowing to putting YOU over Donors and Pockets. The Lawmaker you voted for last time in House District 12, my opponent working part-time got more Donations from Donors than some of us earned working. And then he wrote and introduced a ONE million dollars bill on YOU for ONE of his top Donors for ONE Charter School when he could have written bill funding all schools within the District across the board. That's why I am running. I want to introduce a Benefit to a Bill legislation so YOU can see how Lawmakers like my Opponent are benefiting from Bills that they write, introduce or pass. You need to see those benefits because they impact YOUR taxes.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

No

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Any sensible restrictions on gun should be welcomed and embraced regardless of party because we've seen the impact of guns on our Children in the hands of criminals and folks with mental illness. I believe that a gradual step is a step forward and that is why as YOUR Representative, I will be introducing legislation that calls for insuring guns like we insure vehicles and assault weapon carrying a hefty premium. Money that will be used to fund Education and Police Safety Programs.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Neutral

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Agree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Neutral

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Investing in the Youth. Incentivizing businesses to come and create good Jobs. Increasing Education Funding.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes. Racism threatens who we are and what we claimed to be.
