OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

In my opinion that is the right of the female. If sh wants to consider this option after a rape, incest, or molestation that is her right and her body. I do not believe anyone should make that decision for her.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Agree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Neutral

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Agree

The Ten Commandments should not be displayed in public school buildings or court houses.

Neutral

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation from church and state means religion and politics should never be mixed together. When people began using religion for political purposes it can sometimes lessen the value of what a person is trying to accomplish. As far as education it means religion should not be included in the school setting. This is said because many people have different religious beliefs and we should not attempt to place our religious beliefs on anyone. A person's faith is their personal choice and finally the first amendment reminds us that the government should not take away someone's ability to exercise religion and the state can not rule over the church.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Neutral

EDUCATION

The federal government should mandate standards and requirements (such as Common Core) for local schools.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Agree

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Neutral

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a christian who has been attending church all my life. I joined my church in September 1975, at the age of 6. My belief is there is one God and this is who we worship and there shall be no other God's before him. We must pray daily, red our bible, and be able to preach the gospel to everyone. We attend church every Sunday, where I am a member of our choir, courtesy committee, youth supervisor, and women's ministry. I value my church family and my biological family. I believe we should steadfast and pray.
