As president, Jo Jorgensen will make American like one giant Switzerland – armed and neutral. She will order our troops home from the Middle East and Afghanistan, and will begin the process of bringing our troops home from other foreign bases. This will allow us to dramatically reduce government spending. America will be armed and ready to defend our soil and shores. She will open trade with foreign countries and eliminate tariff taxes on consumers goods so that Americans pay the lowest prices. She will dramatically reduce government regulations so that American businesses can be nimble and better financed, which will enable them to compete successfully in world markets. When goods cross borders, troops don’t have to.

We've seen time and time again that the federal government has armed, trained and bankrolled terrorist groups for decades, including Al Qaeda and ISIS, and there's no reason to think they've stopped. They've also bombed, invaded and destabilized entire regions, which has provided a powerful recruitment tool for those organizations. Ending the wars, bringing the troops home and ending the government's sponsorship of terror groups will neutralize that threat once and for all.

For roughly 100 years, government has increasingly imposed itself into healthcare, and the results have been disastrous: massive increases in cost, protections for Big Pharma and health provider megacorps, and a public that is increasingly anxious about being able to have affordable care when they truly need it. The billionaire cronies own the craven Republicrat politicians in DC, and when they say "Medicare for All", they really mean "VA for all", and we've seen how deadly their policies have been during this pandemic. Government needs to get out of healthcare, which will reduce costs by more than 75% and make healthcare affordable again.

Ending the IRS would immediately, and profoundly, benefit every American, putting an average of $12,000 per year back in their hands, and making the costs of the goods and services they buy dramatically less expensive.

Politicians have spent every cent in the Social Security Trust Fund on other programs, leaving behind worthless IOUs. Other countries have successfully replaced their government-run systems with individual retirement accounts safe from greedy politicians. Jo Jorgensen's plan to implement a solution like the Cato Institute’s “6.2 Percent solution” would allow any American the opportunity to “opt out” of the system while making the current system fiscally stable for those who choose to remain.

The best way to increase wages is to apply simple economics: to make the value of something go up, reduce the supply and increase the demand. Getting rid of the regulatory burdens that make hiring Americans so expensive will cause the demand for American labor will go up, the supply of Americans without work to go down, and the amount of compensation that employers will have to offer to rise.

Since the federal government got involved in education, the literacy rate has gone down and an increasing number of children have been left behind. Their policies of one-size-fits-all, standardized testing has helped no one but the cronies and bureaucrats who profit from it. We must end all laws against victimless crimes, including drug prohibition, which causes far more problems than it solves, overcrowds our prisons, and clogs our criminal justice system. If there is no victim, there is no crime. On Day 1 of Jo's presidency, she will pardon and free all nonviolent drug offenders who have harmed no one. We must take the profit out of locking up citizens. This is one of the few legitimate functions of government – the government should be running the jails and prisons, not private companies.
