Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
As someone who can find valid reasons to be both pro-life & pro-choice, I want to see far less abortions every year due, to a cultural shift led by education campaigns. I think abortions should never occur after 3 months, unless the mother's life is at risk. I'd like to see that reduced to 2 months over time; and only after consultation with folks skilled with options such as adoption and support services for single parent families.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Follow our own Constitution, and never go to war without a Congressional declaration of one, only for defense, never for offense. This will reduce the threat from others more than any other action. Our strength comes from peace and preparation. The debt our nation is in from strike-first undeclared wars of choice has put us in greater risk than any other threat. End the misuse of our fine military, and we can pay for safe and sound border security, as well as, a fair & fast, fully vetted immigration system.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Objective, critical thinking skills perhaps.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Since I was a young child, I have always had a close, personal relationship with God. I was raised Christian and deeply influenced by Hal Lindsay's book and movie, "The Late Great Planet Earth". This movie increased my desire to influence culture through the arts, the way music helped us pave the way to get out of Viet Nam, where my father served in the Air Force. After many years in many different kinds of Christian churches, and a little bit of exploration into other best practices of other religions, I found a church here about 30 years ago which fits my style. My values are: to do no harm to others, only self-defense is allowable; tell 100% of the truth 100% of the time to 100% of the people. My answers in your survey that are neutral or unanswered are due to my ability to view things in ways that don't fit in your choices without explanation.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
