QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Rape When the life of the mother is at risk
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Disagree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The Government shall make no law in favor, or against, any religion. The Government will not favor, or oppose, any religion.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Disagree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Get Government out of the equation completely, allowing for free market healthcare. This would allow for drug prices to be negotiated without any guaranteed payouts to big pharma, it would allow more competition in drug prices, it would allow us to purchase drugs across state/country lines, and would lower total healthcare costs for all people. Insurance companies would come up with new coverage for people who are currently on medicare, and the free market would ensure that it is cheaper and run more efficiently than Government health insurance is today.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Military spending needs to be cut in half. We are in 150+ countries right now when we should be focused on only protecting one. Social Security needs to be reformed out of the current ponzi scheme into an equation that allows for private accounts so that everyone knows how much money they have in the system
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Disagree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Free markets require the free movement of people. I believe that anyone who wants to come to the US to live, and work, should be able to. That is good for the economy, and good for American consumers and employees. Citizenship is a different story. I am okay with it still being difficult, and time-consuming, to become a citizen. I do not believe in welfare, of any type, for any non-citizen immigrants who come here to work.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I support absolutely zero restrictions on gun, or ammunition, ownership. The second amendment is absolute.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Agree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
Corporation Commissioners do not draft legislation, but if they did, they would be: 1) End civil asset forfeiture. The police should not profit off of arrests. 2) Legalize recreational Marijuana. We should choose what we ingest. 3) Release, and pardon, all felons who committed drug crimes.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No, it is not a domestic security threat. We do need to work on criminal justice reform so that all people are treated fairly under the law.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
You may look at my twitter feed for years worth of evidence of my political stances. I am extremely conservative on fiscal matters, and I am small government in terms of what I want government to be involved with on social matters. Sometimes that puts me in dispute with what people traditionally call "social conservatives", but I define it as wanting minimal government intervention on social issues/choices.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have run small companies, and I have run big companies, and the one thing that I know is that companies stop investing when they don't know what regulations are coming next. I have been in business my entire life, versus my opponent who is a career politician. Right now, we need a businessman who understands what it is going to take to put Oklahoma back to work.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
Most of the answers I have provided here have little, or nothing, to do with the position I am running for. Here is what you need to know about my platform. I am going to do three things as your OK Corporation Commissioner: 1) Cut the red tape 2) Stop letting Government pick winners and losers 3) Put Oklahoma back to work Oklahoma is dealing with unprecedented unemployment, despite the fact that COVID19 was not even that bad (comparatively) in this state. We need to get our folks back to work using a free market approach that cuts the red tape, attacks fraud and corporate entitlement programs, and drives corporations to invest in more employees faster. That is what I am offering you in this election.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Agree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was born and raised Presbyterian. I married a catholic. My boys are being raised catholic.
