QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
As abortion is considered a medical procedure, it's occurrence should be discussed and decided by a woman and her state recognized medical provider.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Neutral
There should be a "live" consultation which could include in person and or telehealth platforms. As for the reporting, only non identifiable information such as but not limited to; age, ethnicity and side effects experience should be reported.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Disagree
Isn't the woman a tax payer? Does the tax payer have the right to speak on how tax dollars are spent? Considering the fact that the woman seeking an abortion pays taxes everyday, I see no problem witb her directing where her tax dollars are spent.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on the minimum wage?
a living wage should be the standard for any business that receives taxpayer funds or tax incentives to operate.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
Yes
I don't know about ratings but definitely a system to identify areas in critical need of assistance to improve the quality of life for the people in those areas.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
the building itself is the scene of a crime, an investigation is going on or the building itself poses a threat to the surrounding community
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
Businesses reserve the right to refuse service. If you find a business doesn't want your business go to a business that does.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
B
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Neutral
I have not heard enough about the subject to form a full opinion on the matter so I'll reserve comments
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
No.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Neutral
I think we should try a new approach to the immigration system
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Agree
Tax payers, should have the right to direct their dollars. Taxpayers with no children should receive tax incentives, rebates or offsets for contributions to the educational fund
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Agree
To call gender ideology abuse is a slippery slope. We practice gender ideology everyday. Abuse should be determined on a case by case basis. As for other types of abuse mentioned yes we should be protecting children from grooming and bodily mutilation and the terms need to be well defined in order to minimize improper criminalization as I do feel that certain Cultural practices should be reasonably observed whenever possible.
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Last I checked that is a duty of the parent. However at a certain age, the minor should, have a voice in areas concerning their life that may have life long effects on the quality of their life. If the child has delays that make it difficult for the child to participate in making possibly life changing decisions, it is the parents duty to act in the best interest for the child and I would like to believe the majority of parents make appropriate decisions for their heirs.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Neutral
The person requesting the service is a taxpayer, so if they would like their tax dollars to be used for that purpose so be it.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Neutral
Many people believe that, and I have no problem with the belief, i also understand not everyone serves the same God, or any God for that matter and may believe differently, With that said the constitution itself protects the right of the people to peacefully believe, worship and praise as they see fit including believing that marriage is something other than the longest standing definition of such. The government should not be in the marriage business at all.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Non-Traditional Christian who operates with the belief God gave everyone free will, that we don't know what path God has ordained for someone else to walk and not to judge others by a standard they don't keep. That we do our best to make positive personal impacts on others. That there is man's law and God's law and that when they don't align it is a personal decision which law someone gives authority. That grace and mercy provide for understanding during uncomfortable situations and create the opportunity to show God' s love in my life. That when we advocate against someone else's peaceful choices we advocate against ourselves. That we should be able to live our lives as we see fit, don't hurt others or take their property unjustifiably.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Neutral
Many states already have the provision. I would also be agreeable in allowing prisoners the right to vote as they are being taxed without representation
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Neutral
I need more information so I will reserve my comments on the matter
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes. It's very existence has caused egregious harms to the Black and Indigenous people of this country. It is a domestic threat to the security of melaninated people of this country,
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Agree
In many cases they as, just like in many cases, the people who set them up were.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Agree
I think offering or creating sports categories for transitioning males and females should be considered in sports that are considered physical. Where as in areas of skill, like archery, marksmanship, etc could have mixed gendered competitions
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
Increased enforcement, aggressive collection of fines levied against corporate violators, and supporting innovation by reducing barriers for entering markets currently monopolized.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Hemp made into a product similar to ethanol. I believe innovation should be inspired by the area being served, as availability of resources and cost vary state to state.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To execute the will of the people. To protect the interest of the people. To provide a structured recourse. The constitution is a document detailing how the government is to handle the people's business.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Moderate
I'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Agree
I also believe police officers should carry insurance and their benevolence funds and pensions should be tapped into when wrong doing occurs.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
There are already enough restrictions. If someone wants to shot someone they will find a way to do it, no matter how many laws we create.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Choose not to answer
This is an issue that should be handled at a local level determined by the parents, schools and the communities they serve.
