OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Morally I do not agree with abortion, however, restricting access to abortion would endanger the lives of women. In the same way we have drug use even though it is illegal in most parts of the country, we would have abortions performed illegally as well. I would only support the discontinuance of tax money to fund abortions; they should be privately funded.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Living in Indiana, I would reduce all spending expect road repair. Apparently that department is in desperate need of funding.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Disagree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state means that we do not establish laws favoring or punishing a particular religion.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

By removing restrictions and regulations that make healthcare costly. Through tort reform, which would lower the costs for all medical providers, and by allowing more competition in the insurance market.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Neutral

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Most developed nations in the world only allow immigration if your skill set is valuable and needed in the country with which you wish to immigrate.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Neutral

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian who believes that most non-Christians are non-Christians because they have met a judgy Christian. Too many Christians have forgotten the meaning of Love in 1 Corinthians, which can be summarized simply as "Love is Service." If we can stop looking at people and asking, "What can I get from them", and instead ask, "What can I do for them", I think humans as a whole would find we're more relatable which each other than not.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Somewhat Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I hold strongly the belief that each of us is entitled to pursue our own version of happiness, and should be left alone to pursue that happiness, as long as our pursuit does not trample on the rights of others. I believe that local government is best set to govern their communities, and that the size and scope of the federal government has grown exponentially too large.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have a 20+ year career in problem solving technological issues, leading a team, and delivering a solution for which customers are willing to pay. In addition, I have several years of volunteer experience on a local board, as we as volunteer experience with an emergency management agency. I intend to reduce government complexity in every area I can if elected.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

In all cases, government is too big. I am in favor of less laws, less restrictions, and less taxes across the board. We all have a mom. We do not need government to try to take her place.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

We need to disallow plea deals from violent criminals. The number one thing that threatens the public safety in America is a criminal. The number two thing is a government with the power to restrict your rights.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Agree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

A restriction on the governor's power for executive orders. We cannot unilaterally allow one person to set public policy and define criminal conduct. If we do, we do not have an elected leader, we have a dictator. There is a reason the legislative body exists. Child custody and divorce reform. Countless studies have shown how critical it is for both parents to be participants in their child's life (see my website for citations). In Indiana, it is difficult to get 50/50 custody if one party contests. Every action the judge takes should be with the benefit of the child in mind. Ending the war on drugs, which is extremely costly, and has had too much collateral damage.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes, because the media has been gaslighting the issue. They have failed to report the news, and instead have confused journalistic coverage with opinion pieces.
