QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only when the life of the mother is at risk.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
An overall review of how the government uses our tax dollars is necessary. Programs and agencies become law, but is there accountability? Let's look at whether these entities are necessary or do they need increased funding? By seriously reviewing all of them, I believe we can certainly reduce spending and bring the budget under control. This is a massive task and as we all know, government keeps growing. We need to be serious about reducing it's size for the sake of our future.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
That phrase has become muddled over the years. I understand it to mean that the government cannot establish a church and require it's citizens to be members, which was happening in England prompting Pilgrims to come to America. Citizens have freedom of religion and can establish a church of their choice without government interference.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
There is a need for options, more choices that can be customized to meet individual family healthcare needs. Also, there needs to be transparency in cost of service with estimates given before service is provided. This will eliminate the surprise billing which causes fear and uncertainty. Also, a program to give patients increased choices of providers. Not to have to be concerned whether the Dr. is in network or not.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Our immigration laws need to be evaluated and changed. Immigrants have always been welcomed into our country through a process that assists them to learn what America stands for and then to become a part of the American Dream. We are a sovereign nation and those who enter must understand and pledge to honor and obey our laws, not work to undermine all this great nation stands for. It is imperative that we enforce current laws because there is a process to becoming a citizen.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again Christian which means I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for my sins. It is only by his death on the cross I am assured he forgives me and by his grace and mercy I have strength to live for him each day. God is Love!

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Currently, racism is on everyone's mind. There are very legitimate issues surrounding racism that need to be addressed, however, the subject has evolved or been taken over by those who aggressively seek to destroy and harm innocent people. That has made it a domestic security threat.
