OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

When the life of the mother is at risk, when the child cannot live outside the womb and would face pain if born, if the child cannot live outside the womb and birth or carrying the baby would harm the mother. Rape and Incest.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Neutral

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Neutral

The Ten Commandments should not be displayed in public school buildings or court houses.

Disagree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The United States of America has no State religion- one which all members must belong to- citizens are free to practice any religion or no religion as they choose. The Church/Religious Organization cannot have control of our Government, nor can our Government have control of the Church/Religious Organization.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Agree

EDUCATION

The federal government should mandate standards and requirements (such as Common Core) for local schools.

Disagree

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Neutral

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian, I believe in God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I became a Christian when I believed God was in charge of everything (Sovereign) confessed that Christ was Lord of my life and I was willing to do as He called me to do, and made a public display of my belief/faith in Baptism. I value our Country's freedoms; of religion, speech, defense, press, assembly, equal justice, to own property, and to pursue happiness. I think the United States is a unique and wonderful country I get to live in, and I will do what I can to help make it so.

ABOUT YOU

I voted in these primaries and general elections:

2012 Republican Primary, 2012 General Election, 2014 Republican Primary, 2014 General Election, 2016 Republican Primary, 2016 General Election, 2018 Republican Primary, 2018 General Election

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Somewhat Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Not previously elected- Republican Women United Membership- voting record?

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am a very engaged parent in our public schools- I have worked with other parents to get a great education for their children. I work with my local school board member to include parents in school discussions and help parents who struggle communicating with our system to figure it out. I have served on a City Board and as Executive Director of a small non profit.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

One of the reasons I think Public funds should go to public schools only- is that private schools fulfill an important niche public schools can't. Private Schools can hire based on beliefs, choose not to enroll students they can't help sufficiently, and have autonomy that is their strength. Public funds come with public strings- that would make Private schools less flexible. Public schools must take all- and a vast majority of our students choose public schools- I think it is in our Public's interest to protect public funding for public schools.

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

No
