As city commissioner in St Pete Beach: I prohibited casino-style gambling unless approved by 60% of the voters; voted not to raise taxes, but to create efficiencies in the budget instead(but the fat); currently do not support defunding the police (my opponent signed a pledge to defund the police)and has been out protesting with her wife.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
Built and operated a very successful, innovative, small healthcare business; Business Development career with companies like HSN, Eckerd College, the MS Association, and others. Community service with the homeless and low income families, volunteered in Pinellas County jail to help women get on a path to a better life, started a program to help free women trapped in prostitution and drug addiction, and work with various pet rescues.

I have lived in St Pete Beach for 28 years, and in Florida for 43 years. I love and know our community. I will be a strong voice for us in Tallahassee bringing home the resources we need to be a thriving community. As city commissioner, I was known for "doing my homework" and being a common sense legislator. If elected, I will continue to serve our community this way.
