QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Under no circumstance should abortion be allowed: all life is a precious gift from God. Life has intrinsic value and dignity that should not and can not be determined by circumstance--even the most tragic. In the case of incest or rape, the answer should not be to answer the violence of rape with the violence of abortion. The woman's well-being (mental, physical, emotional, etc) is in a state of intensity that should be met with equal if not more intense love and understanding. The important thing is not to treat the resulting life as a curse or burden. There are many instances of people born from violent circumstances who lead edifying and succesful lives because they were given the chance to live. There are never simple solutions to these cases. Mothers by nature make incredible sacrifices for their children. It may be that adoption is the course worth considering for some.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

The promise of social security and Medicare needs to exist for those nearing retirement age. In order to ensure this, we need to allow younger workers to invest more for their future.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I support a constitutional amendment to balance the budget. We need to look at every department and program. We can’t allow for more unfunded entitlement programs like the so called “Medicare-for-All” that would add to our budget.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

The United States taxpayers should not be on the hook to pay off debt.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Government does not have any right to interfere with people’s ability to practice their faith the way they choose. I was troubled by and opposed efforts by Kansas Governor Laura Kelly to try and close churches during the recent COVID-19 shutdown.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I am a strong supporter of choice and competition in health care. We need to end surprise billing, increase price transparency and allow people to use Health Savings Accounts to subsidize medial cost. What we can’t allow is for the far left to turn our healthcare over to the government which will lead to less choice, longer waits and higher costs.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

We need to continue to invest in intelligence and use our military resources, only when necessary, to eradicate and destroy terrorism cells. We must also speak up and confirm our fundamental American value of freedom.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We are a country of immigrants. We need to continue to be welcoming through a fair process. We must also enforce the laws around this process. We must secure our border.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God the Father Almighty King of heaven and earth. I believe in his son, our Lord Jesus Christ. I believe in the Holy Spirit and the Holy Catholic Church. I was born and raised as a Catholic. As I got older, I discovered that I needed to know God, love God, and to serve him better. That has absolutely influenced my desire to be a public servant. As my parents always stated, when I go to my eternal reward, I hope that I did my best on earth to know, love and serve God. That is why it is so important that I run my campaign on three values, faith, family, and freedom. I am God loving and God-fearing.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

https://www.adrienneforkansas.com/issues

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I’m running for Congress to take our conservative Kansas values of faith, family and freedom to the place that needs them most – Congress. I will be a voice of the people of Kansas’ 3rd District in the House.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The right to bear arms is a guaranteed right under the Second Amendment of our constitution.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Neutral

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Policies that lead to more choice in healthcare and that lower prescription drug cost. We need to focus future recovery efforts on improving and better developing infrastructure. We need to reform Congress. This includes passing term limits.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

America’s history is stained with racism. We must all come together and focus on what binds us together and not what may divide us.
