QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion is a very complex subject with many differing opinions. I think the conversation should be about Marriage and the Author of sex. No woman should ever wish her child dead. The new law in Oklahoma has made great strides in abolishing abortion! No doctor should ever take a life. No taxpayer should ever fund anyone's death.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Oklahoma needs to end the personal income taxes!

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

There are some areas of overlap in the many different agencies of Oklahoma. Oklahoma Turnpike and Oklahoma Highway for instance. As well as the insurance commission, public safety, and motor vehicles

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

Assistance for some would be the best way to break a cycle of poverty. Assistance for all is unsustainable and unethical.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

under no circumstance can government interfer with the church

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. Those programs need to be reformed in the manner suggested by Dr. Ben Carson. There is a lot of common-sense insurance reforms that could lower the cost of healthcare. More needs to be done to prevent the fraud waste and abuse that occurs with Medicare.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstance can healthcare work in a mandatory, all-inclusive manner. Our bodies are all different and divinely designed. There is no vaccine schedule that will work for all people everywhere.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Protect our citizens here in America by increasing the security of our borders.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Individuals who have already received a student visa or work papers should have the first opportunity to immigrate. I think all immigration programs need to be evaluated and restrictions placed on certain countries. Enforcement for those who overstay their visa or arrive with out papers should be swift and punitive.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I label myself an evangelical. I have been a follower of Jesus Christ for a long time and continue to grow in my faith. Have been a member of a Southern Baptist Church and a volunteer for many mission focused adventures. If elected to the Oklahoma State government, I will be excited to enter a new mission field. Love is my Value, I worship in Spirit and seek Truth.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I believe Oklahoma has some of the best voting practices in the country. There does not need to be any changes made as far as I know of. https://sapulpatimes.com/county-political-chairmen-stand-together-against-theft-and-vandalism-of-campaign-signs/

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

NO. The security threats to the United States are from misguided hateful people. they hate for a number of reasons, hating religion and ideology as much as race or ethnicity.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

The laws we currently have in Oklahoma are sufficient. The technology continues to improve and the stigma from pollution is enough to keep companies in compliance with environmental laws and regulations. A free market will push bad companies out of business and innovation will allow good companies to remain competitive.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Neutral

I currently work at the Tulsa refinery. In Oklahoma there seems to be evidence to support claims fracking causes earthquakes. There needs to be more study and solid, evidence-based regulations on the amount of pressure allowed and if certain areas are better suited for fracking.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The function of law is to protect the free exercise of an individual's God given rights, and to prevent any person from interfering with the free exercise of these same rights by any other person. Government's mission is to protect persons and property. the happiest, most moral, and most peaceful people are those who most nearly follow this principle: Although mankind is not perfect, still, all hope rests upon the free and voluntary actions of persons within the limits of right; law or force is to be used for nothing except the administration of universal justice. these ideas are reflected in The Law by Fredric Bastiat

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://www.soonerpolitics.org/editorial/creek-county-republican-party-set-to-vote-affirming-medical-marijuana-rights This article includes the Creek County GOP platform, I have served on the committee since 2010 and helped shape the platform over the years.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

NO

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

My only campaign promise is to read the bills. If a compelling case can be made that the legislation will correct a flaw in the justice system without any unintended consequences, I may support it. One caveat is the proposed legislation is within the scope of the powers granted to Oklahoma in the United States Constitution and there is a mechanism provided to fund the enforcement of the new law.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Neutral

Some departmental policies are flawed

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

In my experience serving on a town board, there is never enough funding for many police departments.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Disagree
