I would like to have insurance that is not tied to your job, but that your employer could contribute to. You should be able to purchase insurance across state lines. All individuals should be able to contribute to a health savings plan, with the maximum being raised, so that the money could be used for health needs that are not covered under the individual's health insurance plan.
