OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

NONE

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Coivd19 has challenged our current budget tremendously. Most importantly it is to get businesses back open. I support reducing governmental units in hiring outside counsel to initiate class action suits without approval from the Attorney General. Promote governmental efficiency by creating an environment for job growth. Promote outcomes based health care decisions and funding. Oppose use of public funds for litigation in the promotion of more public funding. Oppose expansion of Medicaid.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Best example: Kansas Governor Kelly's executive order 20-18 which prohibited churches from gathering. The Governor/ government should NEVER have the power over church. Remember, our pennies read "IN GOD WE TRUST". Our God is greater than the government, and the government should not push God around.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I have served as a medical missionary to over 40 countries. I have seen the varied types of socialized and communist health care and it does not work. I do not believe the government should control our health care needs nor tax individuals more to cover the costs. I will support businesses to offer options, and recommend that the private insurance companies stop "making money" at the costs of our individual health care needs. As a health care provider, I have contracts with many insurance companies and the lack of oversight in billing, accounts receivable as well as equal reimbursement to providers must be addressed. Tackling these issues will make health care affordable.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Neutral

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

AMERICA is the land of immigrants. We are found by laborers. I believe we have an open door to legal immigration. I mentioned earlier I have served as a medical missionary to many countries. I always entered with a VISA (if indicated) and renewed that VISA as requested by the country's law.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of GOD, born of the virgin Mary, lived on earth and died for the remission of our sins. I believe the bible is God's word.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

When you see a penny on the sidewalk, or use to pay your bill, the inscription reads "in God we trust". This is the foundation of America. I support this foundation for the preservation of America in the conquest of Christianity, believe in God. I value and support religious freedom, family, a strong military, right to bear arms, and freedom for Americans to own and protect their property. In God I trust.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have served on the city council for a critical access are in Kansas. During my term, I brought 911 to the area which required street signs, house numbers and many changes for the community. I have a masters degree in Science, giving me the ability to be a board certified family nurse practitioner. I started a non-profit in 1994, and served as the CEO for 17 years, when I then started a for profit and served for 10 years while aiding by co-founder parter to assume the lead role and ownership. My work as a small business owner and non-profit CEO has given me much guidance in health care policy, Government insurance plans, corporate ideology and excellence in workforce. I have worked annually with legislators on bills, regulations and issues making me a fantastic candidate for the job.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

no

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Shawnee, Kansas is my home. I was born in Kansas from generations of entrepreneurs of hard-working farmers and small business owners. I am a wife, mother, nurse practitioner and business woman in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors of our state. My mission, as your state representative is to be a voice of and for the people. To guide our legislators in making smart health care decisions without compromising excellence and quality. To empower the small business to growth and flourish while creating jobs, and incredible work force. To make change based on a public health focus of safety and outcomes. To growth our state financially, enhancing our labor forces while educating to our youth to be good workers and community advocates. I am a common sense conservative, lifelong Republican, ready to join our incredible legislature and work for my community. Kansas is a state where dreams are possible, caring for our neighbors still happens, and doing the right thing exists. Vote 2020.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism exists. Everyone needs to start with themselves to assess their level of racism. EVERYONE has some level of racism. For example, choosing a woman over a man, or white person over black. Start with self assessment.
