OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

No Answer

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Neutral

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

No Answer

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I have a moral issue with on-demand abortions after the 4th month of pregnancy. I have arrived at this decision because: 1. modern medicine has advanced to the point where a spontaneously aborted fetus in the 5th month (not just the 3rd trimester indicated by Roe v Wade) has been viably delivered and, 2. "twinning" can occur up to 12 days after conception, disproving conception as the beginning of a human life and thus, indicating that conception is only a part of the process of becoming human.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Neutral

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

A "balanced" federal budget is a misnomer. I recommend reading information provided at the website, pragcap.com , to inform oneself of how little we understand the federal budget.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

No Answer

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

No Answer

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

No Answer

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means the realization our founding fathers had in acknowledging differences in human beliefs and (at the risk of being redundant)extending one's rights only to the point of where someone else's rights begin.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Agree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

The least worst scenario is universal health care, some kind of universal Medicare. It has the broadest base of "pay in" and has no for profit motive to drive up prices. Admittedly, this is a question which will require attention from multiple points of view. This question would not be necessary except for the unbridled greed of the health care and insurance industries.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Agree

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Disagree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Different countries have different laws for immigration. I recommend following them or changing them if they do not fit our purpose.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Neutral

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Neutral

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

No Answer

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I describe myself as a "spiritual agnostic". God is indefinable. I have deduced that knowledge is finite (I won't go into the deduction, here). If we can never define the universe via knowledge (because knowledge is finite), then that leads me to the rhetorical question: What is the difference between an indefinable universe and assigning responsibility for that indefinable universe to an indefinable entity? (Obviously, the answer is "none"). There is something more than knowledge to our universe, but we will never "know" what that is (that's the "spiritual" part). I have come to accept the ambiguity of my existence. My pragmatic existence is ruled by a simple philosophy: my rights end where the next person's rights begin.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

The two party duopoly which has systemically corrupted our political state of affairs has divided this country into an "either/or" situation: left/right, conservative/progressive, democrat/republican, etc. This corruption is fueled by the exhorbitant amount of money buying legislation at all facets of our government. I wish to regain and retain democracy for the 90% of citizens who essentially have no response from our government. I intend on doing this by introducing as many provisions as possible of the model legislation known as the American Anti-Corruption Act.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy. My political "epiphany" occurred at the 2008 presidential election when we went from a conservative Bush administration to a progressive Obama administration and NO major policy changed. It took me a few years to realize what was going on, but my thinking was clarified by a well-referenced video on You Tube called "Corruption is Legal in America". I recommend everyone to watch it.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Yes. I am a "one issue" candidate: I want to reduce the influence of money in politics. However, this one issue is the basis for almost every problem in American politics today. It's not "the swamp", it's not "the deep state", it's not the Republicans, it's not the Democrats, it's not the left, it's not the right. As a dubious politician once stated, "It's the money, stupid". But we already knew that, didn't we? Let's do something about it.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Neutral

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

90% of most Americans want strict criminal and mental health background checks before someone may purchase a gun (75% of NRA members!). So why don't we have it? Because it is the corporate elite who have the money it takes to stop this kind of legislation and continue pulling in profit for their companies. I would also like to see a ban on magazines capable of holding over 10 rounds of ammunition.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Agree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Agree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Agree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. I wish to reduce the influence of money in politics. 2. I intend on doing this by introducing as many of the provisions as possible found within model legislation called the American Anti-Corruption Act. 3. The American Anti-Corruption Act must begin at the state level, as the state controls the electoral processes in this country.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is a threat. Prejudice is not. Everyone is born with innate prejudices preferring one's own kind (e.g. humans over rats). However, when humans usurp the rights of other humans across ethnic boundaries, it becomes racism. Since my driving political initiative is that one's rights end where the next person's rights begins, emulation of this initiative would help eliminate racism.
