The original intent of this "establishment clause" was that state support for a particular religion or for any religion was improper. The government does not have to be hostile to religion, but just may not prefer one over the other. This means that we are free to exercise and practice our religion without government interference.

I believe the free market has the best solutions for health care coverage with individuals remaining in charge of their healthcare decisions. The goal of the legislature should simply be to make sure there is access to affordable/quality care.

State Representatives would have very little policy opportunity in this area since its a federal issue. However, I believe that people should follow the legal path of immigration to become productive members/citizens of our country. I do not support undocumented people gaining entrance to the U.S. through illegal means.

I have never held public office, nor put out public statements on these matters.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
Experience: raised in a stable and loving family, which allowed me to pursue higher education and opportunities to learn and grow. I have a degree in business/marketing and 20 years of sales/management experience. This led to building my own business, learning the value of competition and innovation. I have many years of Christian service, ministry, teaching and volunteering. For fifteen years, I focused on the education and raising of my children. I was very involved in their lives and activities. During that time, I started and coached high school debate teams, of which my own children were apart. This competitive activity was through the students debating government policy. This will be invaluable in public office.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I believe all people are made in God's image, therefore giving them intrinsic worth and value. I believe this allows me to listen well and respect others' viewpoints. I believe that servant leadership is the most effective way to lead. Bringing people together to achieve worthwhile goals is one of the greatest joys in my life.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is being fueled by radical activists and domestic terror groups following the events of police brutality and the consequent death of a black man. Riots are currently happening as I am writing this, so it does appear to be a very real threat to domestic security. Businesses are being looted and people are being harmed.
