RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Did not answer

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state is not part of the Constitution but was in a letter from President Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Association reassuring them that the government would not interfere with their church or favor any other church over them. The First Amendment of the United States Constitution states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;" This is the first line of the Bill of Rights, which emphasizes the importance of Religious Liberty. This means the government is not to establish any official Religion or interfere with any person or church in exercising their religion or following their religious beliefs. Please view the video I produced on Religious Liberty on my website SukalskiforMN.com for more information.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Please visit my campaign website SukalskiforMN.com to watch videos that I have made explaining my views on many different positions.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

As an engineer, my job is analyzing problems and situations to provide solutions. We need solutions in St. Paul to the many problems with our state government. We do not need the same old processes, but rather someone who will come from a different viewpoint to fix these issues. As an engineer, I have to analyze the consequences of every design decision from every angle from cost to potential misuse, and from the effects on other systems to future considerations. Our district’s representative must be thorough and must be able to generate solutions, which I do every day. As a lifelong farmer with century farms on both sides of my family, I have an intimate knowledge of the needs of agriculture and our rural economy. Grain farmers and livestock producers are facing many challenges in the markets right now, which also affects many other businesses in this community. My history and experience advocating for these groups through my volunteering activities is especially important.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I believe I am the best candidate for the job, and I encourage you to talk to me to make that determination for yourself. I have provided many videos on Facebook and my website explaining the important positions I hold from being Pro-Life, Protecting the 2nd Amendment, Tax Reduction, Fiscal Responsibility, and many more. More are also on the way. A candidate’s positions and viewpoints do matter. I encourage anyone to reach out to me to discuss concerns and issues facing our district, and I will not shy away from discussing them. I appreciate the opportunity to earn your vote.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
