QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None. There are no circumstances to justify the intentional killing of a child in the womb. Don't punish the child for the crimes of the father. Abortion hurts women just as much as killing the child. It kills the soul of the woman, harms the family, and sends women into a post-abortive state of an internal prison. Everyone deserves a chance at life. We are living in a post-Christian society that values the culture of death more that the culture of life. Our Nation will be judged, first and foremost, by this sin of our country.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Downsize every state department by cutting the most harmful programs. Studies done at the national level can be translated to the state that propose specific cuts that would reduce state spending by 25% and balance the budget in a few years. Spending cuts would spur economic growth by shifting resources to higher-valued private ones. Cuts would expand freedom by giving people more control over their lives and reducing the regulations that come with spending programs.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state isn't even in the Constitution, in so many words. The popular meaning of this phrase, coined as recently as the 1950s, often has citizens thinking, "separation FROM church and state," which is INCORRECT. I remind people that "separation OF church and state" is a different meaning than what leftists give. Government is not to establish one religion. But many interpret this as religion cannot influence government at all, which is hogwash. United States of America would not be without the influences of Christian Faith and Canon Law.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I would promote a Direct Primary Care model that is affordable for all. It is superior to socialized medicine and brings healthcare back to where it should be...between the doctor and patient, and out of the hands of state-run bureaucracy. Direct Primary Care models already in use have proven to be more affordable and accessible than what mandates (and care) the government can provide.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

The educated, those seeking education, those without a violent criminal record, those seeking asylum from oppression... but they need to do it according to the immigration laws. Is this too much to ask? Immigration Law needs to be reformed, but not in ways that a socialist democrat may desire. We need to look at why does it take years for some... while others can just walk in, voting in our elections and living off the system like a ghost. We have the right to secure our borders and vet who comes through those doors. It's in our best interest of national security.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I have faith in Jesus Christ, the Savior, the God-man Who took the weight of our sins of the World upon His shoulders. The Great "I AM" that is Love itself. I am Roman Catholic. I believe and observe the Word of God, His Commandments, and the Code of Canon Law.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Volunteer Service to Right to Life and Respect Life for 25 years/Occasional Board member. Attendee of the National March for Life in Washington D.C. for over 15 years. Helped gather signatures for the Heartbeat Bill.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am a fiscally conservative vote for Michigan! I hold a degree in International Relations (Political Science), with minors in Spanish and Geography and City Planning. I interned for then Senator, Bill Schuette, with most of my work there being constituent response. With hundreds of volunteer hours for Right to Life of Michigan since 1995, I continue to participate in lobby events and Legislative Days with our elected officials. As a Precinct Delegate, I participated in numerous Republican State Party Conventions, being sure to cast a vote for conservative party leaders. We still have work to do here. The network of conservative individuals that I have connected with over the years as a delegate are invaluable, with great mentorship from other conservatives across the State. After completing the Grassroots Leadership Training with Americans For Prosperity, I was encouraged with conviction to run for office. Many folks are disenchanted with the caliber of candidate. That's why I'm here

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am running on a promise and pledge. A promise Not to do any harm to our community, and a pledge to Not Vote for ANY tax increases. I will not sponsor nor vote for a bill to add county fuel taxes added to your costs at the pump. I will not sponsor nor vote for a taxpayer-funded advertising campaign for specific business and lobbyists. I will not sponsor nor vote for bills that will completely wipe out family fishing business. I'm passionate about bringing Michigan back from the brink...to prevent Michigan from becoming Little California. We've already been hijacked. Will you show up to the Primary to pick good people for the November ballot? Look at a candidate's voting record if they have one. Don't sit idly by and say that you will just wait till November. Your choice to make a real impact will have been a missed opportunity. Primaries Matter. It's the only way to move real conservatives into elected offices. Thank you for your time, and thank you for paying attention this election.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Constitutional Carry is the way to go here. Criminals will always have access to guns. Gun laws only serve to take away the 2nd Amendment Right from civil, law-abiding citizens. Violent offenders and mass shooters don't abide by civil gun laws.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Heartbeat Bill, establishing the viability of the child at the heartbeat. If contested, the Supreme Court has already an interest in taking on this case. It is unprecedented in it's language. It is like no other pro-life bill. Balanced Budget, Responsible, fiscal conservative spending, finding dead-end programs that are wasting taxpayer dollars and free up some budget for Roads. We can fix the roads WITHOUT raises taxes. No more taxes. The money is already there. Current elected officials don't want to take the time to sift through and find it. Michigan's budget is bigger than ever before, topping $60 billion. Taking further steps to rectify car insurance, which is still a mess in Michigan. The legislature didn't take it far enough in the new car insurance mandates that take effect this July 2020. Also, it is ridiculous that Michigan car registration fees are based on the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. This only further hurts Michiganders. A flat rate works in other states.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

If democrat socialists like former president Obama would stop using racism to divide America, there wouldn't be much of a problem or divide in this country... The threat isn't really racism, but rather those using racism to further their leftist agenda. Unified We Stand, Divided We Fall. The Democrat Plantation is the real threat to domestic security.
