OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only to Protect Life of Mother, which is rarely ever the case. I don't believe in any other exceptions.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Government spending is wildly out of control. Its unfortunate that elected officials are such poor stewards of hard earned, taxpayer dollars. There are many areas that the fat could be trimmed down, which would lead to less wasteful spending. One area that needs major fat cut from it is the administrative state. The alphabet agencies have far too much power and money invested in them, and that is one area where spending should be drastically reduced.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

First off, the conception that "separation of church and state" is in the Constitution is incorrect. This was a quote taken out of context from one of Thomas Jefferson's letters and used to pry religion out of the public. While I do not advocate a theocracy by any means - I support the right of all to worship (or not worship at all) as they see fit. What cannot be ignored, however, is that this country was founded on Judeo-Christian values, and societies based on those values have led to the freest societies in human history.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

The best way to provide good and affordable healthcare is to get government out of the way. Less burdensome regulations from government will allow prices to lower so that healthcare is affordable for all. There is no one size fits all in healthcare just as you wouldn't want one brand of automobile or sneaker to choose from. The best option is to allow a competitive marketplace to create a vast variety of solutions based on the unique medical needs of each individual.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Agree

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We should follow strong immigration policies that are fair to the residents already living here, using common sense. We are a nation of immigrants and that is something to be proud of. But we should not welcome those who wish to come here and mooch of the system. We should openly accept those coming to the United States in pursuit of the "American Dream" - that is those who come here wishing to assimilate with our values and work hard to provide for themselves.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a strong Christian that has a commitment to faith in Jesus Christ.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I believe in limited government, individual liberty, and an unwavering commitment to the Constitution. A government that stays out of the way will allow us to create the most prosperous, peaceful society possible. Government's role should simply be limited to protecting life, liberty, and property - as the founding father's of this great nation intended.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

My experience in law, including advanced Constitutional studies makes me qualified for office. Furthermore, I have spent numerous hours studying: economics, the Constitution, History, and the principles of liberty - giving me a solid foundational understand of these topics. I believe understanding the aforementioned studies is extremely vital to properly serving in public office. The past has shown us that without knowledge in these areas, disastrous decisions are made by public officials.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I'm the pro-life, pro-gun, pro-liberty candidate dedicated to defend the Constitution. As a lifelong resident of my district, I understand its needs and will pride myself on fighting for my constituents. My knowledge of the law, economics, history and the principles of a free society make me the best advocate to create more prosperity and liberty in Michigan. I will go to Lansing and fight for the people - not the lobbyists!

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

No Answer

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The right to defend yourself and your family is a natural, God-given right that has been codified in the Constitution. I believe there are already too many restrictions on gun ownership - I'm not sure of what part of "shall not be infringed" politicians seem not to understand. As such I will fight to cut back on these restrictions by passing measures such as Constitutional Carry.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

No Answer

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1) Constitutional Carry 2) Pro-Life Legislation 3) CAFE legislation - fighting for free speech on college campuses

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
