OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The right of the woman to live the life SHE wants and not by the will of the masses.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Neutral

Do we not as human beings have the right to choose? Do we not as human beings have the right to decide our own fates? Then WHY as human beings attack the rights of women to choose their own fate?

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Agree

If I was in agony and diagnosed with a life ending event, why would I want to continue to suffer so that someone else can make money off of my life.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Simplify it! Get rid of all of the confounded amendments and loopholes. Start from scratch!

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Special Interest projects that do not provide relief to all Michiganders under the current economic environment.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

The current educational system is broken. The system needs overhaul and taxpayers should not bear the burden.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Why should the individual or business submit to the whims of others when there is a difference of opinion. Agree to disagree and part ways.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

The recent pandemic proved this.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

I do not like any of the answers provided. There HAS to be another way to handle medical coverage that does not impact the financial capabilities of people that want medical coverage and are strapped for funds.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. The recent pandemic showed that individuals resented control over their lives.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Islamic Terrorism? When we have a national security breach at the southern border? Are you kidding me?

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Neutral

There are enough problems here at home that I feel needs addressing than worrying about another country's problems.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

I feel it is a direct attack against the United States. It is unprecedented and that there should be stronger measures taken to ensure that no more death and destruction occurs on United States soil or taking up limited resources already being felt by legal US citizens everywhere.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone that follows the law of the United States and enters through legal processes.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

There is an old saying: Parents are the first teachers. They should have the ability to safeguard their children by whatever means necessary to ensure their lives are not wasted by educational issues that are contrary to the wishes of the parents.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Choose not to answer

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Choose not to answer

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Choose not to answer

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Choose not to answer

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Live and let live.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Added insurance to avoid voter fraud.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

If they are not already available and in place now, ensure that addresses are current and up to date on valid voters, providing ID with address that matches state records, or have other documents with at least one with a picture to validate potential voters.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

If racism is weaponized then yes it could be a threat to 'everyone' in the United States.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

How far back in history are we going to go? How much money can the United States cover without going bankrupt? Can anyone legally guarantee they are who they say they are to receive reparations.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Why isn't there option C) Environmental laws and regulations that work with the businesses, job market and economy that would allow profits on both sides of the balance sheet.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Neutral

I am not familiar enough about the economic, infrastructure, or environmental impact in the locations chosen to extract the resources.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Make the laws to be applied equally to everyone, interpret the laws to ensure that equality and enforce them.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Choose not to answer

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

None at this time.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

The needs of all Michiganders should outweigh the needs of a select few or even one.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

Police officers on are the front lines 24/7. They are just as human as you or I. Decisions in the heat of battle should not be prosecuted. It's bad enough the bad guys are getting a free pass without treating law enforcement as criminals as well.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Recent events have made that decision questionable at best. How many communities that had those programs provided for them actually saw a reduction in lawlessness?

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

How many more restrictions have made a dent in the lawlessness we are currently facing.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

A gun is a tool. Firearms dealers and manufactures only make or sell the tools. Humans that bought (or stole) guns should be responsible for their actions using a gun as a tool. A person driving a vehicle (tool) that killed someone is charged. Not the vehicle dealers or manufacturers.
